Chapter 485
Felix, though fearless, deliberately displayed weakness, even letting Tiffany take the Treasure Box. A malicious smile played on his lips. He said, "You've been quite bold lately." It sounded like a death sentence.
Lorenzo, shocked, immediately shivered. Facing Felix's murderous gaze, he knelt, his face paling. "I'm sorry. I crossed the line!" The last person to speak to Felix like that was long dead. Though seemingly carefree, Felix was vengeful.
Lorenzo trembled. His outburst stemmed from anger. Given ten times the courage, he wouldn't dare defy Felix again.
"Get out," Felix said.
"Yes!" Lorenzo scrambled away.
The huge villa fell silent. Only the mess and bullet-riddled sofa proved the recent events weren't a delusion. Felix turned, his profile obscured in the darkness, his eyes mysterious. His lips curled into an increasingly evil smile.
No one understood why he'd given Tiffany the Treasure Box so easily. He knew, however, that only it could restore her lost memories. He'd waited for this day.
The majestic convoy drove toward Lovell City. Over an hour later, June, looking at Tiffany in the rearview mirror, asked, "Miss Kelley, should we go straight back to Luna Villa?"
"Yes."
"Should wemake a trip to Royal Bay?" June, unaware of the morning's arena events, suggested, "Though we didn't get rid of Felix, we have the Treasure Box. Mr. Hampton could help track him down."
Tiffany's eyelashes fluttered. Richard had seen her with Felix that morning. She wondered if he'd believe her. Her heart tightened, but she tacitly agreed. "Then go."

The car changed lanes, heading straight for Royal Bay. Minutes later, it stopped. Tiffany stood at Royal Bay's door, slightly disheveled from her haste.
Servants, slightly stunned, hesitantly opened the door. "Mrs. Hampton," they greeted.
Tiffany thought, Mrs. Hampton? Soon, that name will no longer be mine. She smiled and nodded, entering the villa.
In the luxurious living room, Grelle sat on the sofa, still trembling from the arena's shock.
Tiffany's eyes flashed. An innocent girl like Grelle, from a simple life, encountering such danger yet she risked her life to protect Richard. That's extraordinary.
Approaching, Grelle looked up, startled. Her tone was neutral. "Tiffany? Youwhy are you here?"
"Can't I come to my fiancé's house?" Tiffany smiled.
Grelle lowered her head. "I didn't mean that. Tiffany, don't misunderstand."
Tiffany glanced at her and went upstairs. A faint smell of blood hung in the bedroom. Richard's wound had reopened; Sidney was bandaging it, numerous blood-soaked cotton balls nearby.
Tiffany asked, "Why are you so badly injured?" She reached for spirit herbs.
Richard, his back to her, froze. Turning, his expression was indifferent. "You're finally willing to come back?" His words were laced with anger.
Sensing danger, Sidney quickly finished the bandage, left without the first-aid kit, and closed the door, giving Tiffany a look that said, "You're on your own."
Silence, oppressive and terrifying, filled the bedroom. As Tiffany approached, she saw Richard's eyes flash red. A violent aura emanated from him; he seemed on the verge of losing control.
Shocked, Tiffany stepped back, provoking Richard's fury. He pounced, pinning her to the bed, his hand tightening around her neck.
Chapter 485
Richard's face was cold. "Tiffany, did you betray me?" His eyes were deep, his words cold and harsh. A nod might have meant death.
Tiffany shook her head frantically. "I didn't." She'd never betrayed him, but her words seemed unconvincing.
Richard's eyes deepened; he smiled self-deprecatingly. He'd believed her, even after she stabbed him. But seeing her with Felix shattered his trust. He knew Felix; Tiffany had claimed she was at school. Deception was unacceptable to him. He could tolerate anything but lies.
Richard's eyes were clear as he stared at her. "What else do I not know about you?"
Tiffany's eyes stung. "If I told you I meant to kill him, would you believe me?"
"No," Richard's words crushed her last hope.
Tiffany was stunned. After a moment, she smiled self-deprecatingly. "Since you don't believe me, I have nothing to say." She freed herself from his grip and turned away.
