Listen to this chapter:

To Tiffany's anticipation, Richard wasn't surprised. It was as if he'd guessed.

Tiffany shook Richard's arm, saying coquettishly, "Don't be upset. I decided at the last minute and didn't mean to hide it from you."

"Yeah," Richard responded, pondering before adding, "Then you go over first today. I'll send a few people with you."

Tiffany, catching his meaning, asked in surprise, "I'll go over first today? You mean you'll come with me?"

He raised an eyebrow, smiling charmingly. "You frown upon my going with you?"

Tiffany smiled instantly. "Of course not. I'm happy to have you."

"I'll settle company matters and go over tomorrow. I'll have John and Garry follow you. They're quite skilled. If anything happens, let them handle it."

"Okay," Tiffany nodded, rising from the sofa to leave. Her hand was grabbed as she stood. She fell into his embrace. His kisses were forceful, as if to consume her. Their breathing grew chaotic.

Tiffany pulled back, murmuring, "Oh, I'm leaving You you let go"

Her resistance resulted in a sharp pain—Richard had bitten her lip. Tiffany surrendered. Minutes later, their intertwined breaths separated. Richard's eyes burned. "I'll let you off for now."

Tiffany blushed, seizing the opportunity. "I'm leaving. See you tomorrow," she said, fleeing.

Richard smiled, the fire in his eyes subsiding as he watched her go. The private jet ascended above Royal Bay. Tiffany, sitting comfortably, squinted with satisfaction.

Originally, she'd asked June to arrange a helicopter. However, after their trip to Royal Bay, Richard deemed it too slow, so a private jet was arranged instead. Garry and John followed, their skills making them valuable assets, especially given Tiffany's current shortage of personnel. Richard's decision solved a significant problem. Jeremy also traveled with her, maintaining his disguise so well that even June didn't recognize him. Tiffany, aware of his plan, didn't expose him.

A private jet was far faster than a helicopter, shortening the eight-hour flight to two and a half. Upon landing at the Azure Sea Royal Family's tarmac, they were met by armed men emerging from all directions, aiming their weapons at them. Garry and John immediately positioned themselves before Tiffany, their subordinates drawing their own weapons. A tense standoff ensued.

Tiffany frowned. Her side was heavily outnumbered. She asked, "Who sent you?" Suspecting Morwen, she reasoned that the attack was a preemptive strike based on advance knowledge of their arrival.

Morwen's subordinates parted, revealing Morwen in a long dress. Elegantly, she stated, "You trespassed the Azure Sea Royal Family without permission. By our laws, you should be killed." She raised her hand, seemingly about to give the order.

But Tiffany moved swiftly, placing her open switchblade against Morwen's neck. "This blade cuts through iron like mud, Saintess. Care to try?"

All guns were trained on Tiffany, but the hostage situation deterred them from firing. Garry and John stood vigilantly beside Tiffany, as did June. The tension was palpable.

Tiffany pressed the blade, breaking Morwen's skin; blood welled. Morwen, gritting her teeth, realized Tiffany's audacity. She blamed her own carelessness and her subordinates' incompetence.

Morwen, taking a deep breath, dared not move. "Tiffany, what are you doing? Put down your knife."

Tiffany smirked. "Miss Xanthus, I ask you what you're doing. Making such a fuss over me? Well-intentioned, aren't you?"

"I'm not targeting you. You trespassed. What's wrong with following the rules?" Morwen sneered, explaining that entry required a pass, which she assumed Tiffany lacked.

"Is this it?" Tiffany asked, producing a valid pass. Morwen's eyes widened. "How did you?" she sputtered, realizing that she'd cut off external access after her last visit.

Tiffany smiled faintly. "Miss Xanthus, with my pass, perhaps your subordinates could lower their weapons? Treating guests so poorly isn't good, is it?"

Morwen's face fell. Her words were irreversible.
