Chapter 670

"Is it alright for me to cheat on myself?" Tiffany wondered. She swiped her phone screen. After reading the news about her alleged adultery, she casually scrolled through the comments. Many criticized her; many were jealous. Even her identity as the Miracle Healer had been exposed.

Tiffany took her phone to Richard's desk, sat on his lap, and waved it. "Here, take a look."

Richard looked through it. His expression was calm; it was hard to tell if he was happy or angry. He usually ignored such baseless rumors, letting someone delete them. After all, with so many people online, who had time to scrutinize every post?

However, these people, unaware of the truth, also scolded Tiffany. They said she deserved to be abandoned or that his new lover had a seductive face. In short, the comments were unkind.

Richard glanced at the phone; a shadow flickered in his eyes. "Seal all these accounts," he said.

"Yes," Tyrone nodded respectfully. Previously, unaware of Tiffany's identity, he'd mistakenly thought Richard had been seduced. He'd even secretly felt angry on Tiffany's behalf. "It's all good now. After all this fuss, Richard never had any feelings for another woman," Tyrone thought.

Tyrone bowed, about to leave.

"Wait," Tiffany stopped him, smiling. "Don't worry about this."

"Huh?" Tyrone was stunned, secretly watching Richard's expression. "This…" He thought, If this isn't suppressed, the impact will grow.

Richard raised an eyebrow slightly and said dotingly, "Do as you're told."

"Yes," Tyrone nodded and left.

Back on the sofa, Tiffany ate food delivered from a five-star hotel, watching a variety show to enhance her appetite. The public opinion didn't seem to affect her.

Richard sat beside her. "When do you want to leave? I'll arrange it." Tiffany had mentioned visiting the Azure Sea Royal Family; a honeymoon trip seemed perfect.

Tiffany considered it. "Shall we leave after this matter is settled?" She thought, Jeffrey is always a potential threat. I can't leave Lovell City peacefully until I eliminate him. There's no movement from the Azure Sea Royal Family yet, so there's no rush.

Richard nodded. "Okay."

"Aren't you going to ask me why?" Tiffany blinked. Richard always seemed to agree, regardless of her reasons. He never asked, never stopped her; he unconditionally followed her every time.

Richard replied matter-of-factly, "I dote on my wife. Is there a problem?"

"No problem!" Tiffany laughed.

After the meal, Tiffany prepared to leave. Many employees whispered as she exited the office.

"Look, it's her!" "She's not as pretty as Mrs. Hampton." "I heard she's from Miracle Healer. Why are all those people like that? Can't they find men and stop interfering in others' relationships?"

Some were gloating, some jealous, some gossiping, some self-righteous.

Tiffany's hearing was sharp. They thought their voices were soft, but she heard everything. She smiled and calmly walked on, saying nothing.

Tyrone was ordered to see her downstairs. On the stairs, he asked, "Mrs. Hampton, why did you change back?" He referred to her face. She'd removed her makeup in the office but had returned to her delicate Miracle Healer appearance.

He said carefully, "Mrs. Hampton, no one will gossip if you admit your identity. They're discussing you because they don't know the truth."

"I know, but it's not the time." Tiffany smiled mysteriously. "Tyrone, you can't tell anyone either." She wouldn't let the false gossip continue; it would harm her, Miracle Healer, and Richard. But it wasn't the time to reveal the truth.

Tyrone didn't fully understand, but he was shrewd. He nodded respectfully. "Yes, Mrs. Hampton."

Tiffany left.

The news was so big that Charlie and Thalia, previously unaware, saw it. Charlie was unconcerned; Tiffany was a priceless treasure to him. At most, he'd let her come home and keep her for life. He dismissed the news with a sneer, disbelieving it.

Thalia, however, felt sorry for Tiffany and immediately called her. Tiffany spent a long time comforting Thalia before she calmed down. However, Thalia couldn't help overthinking and wanted to visit Tiffany in Royal Bay.

Unexpectedly, as she changed clothes, she heard a car outside. She thought Charlie had returned, but when she went out, she saw Daisy. What is she doing here? Thalia thought, frowning in disgust.

The memory of Daisy tearing up a ten-thousand-dollar check and mocking her for lacking money to treat Charlie's illness was vivid. Also, the day Tiffany returned, Daisy had inexplicably fainted under the dining table, ostensibly picking up a fork – a suspicious incident that now seemed deliberately malicious. How shameless to covet her cousin's husband, Thalia thought.

Daisy, however, seemed oblivious to Thalia's expression. She smiled radiantly, taking Thalia's hand. "Aunt Thalia, your clothes are beautiful today."

"Mm," Thalia replied indifferently.

"Aunt Thalia, your necklace is so beautiful. Did Uncle Charlie buy it? Uncle Charlie dotes on you!"

Daisy circled Thalia, buzzing like a fly. Thalia's head ached. In the past, Thalia might have praised her for being lively, but she was tired of dealing with the family. "Just say it. What do you want?"

"Aunt Thalia, I just came to see you. Why have you been so impatient with me recently…" Daisy seemed wronged, but seeing Thalia's unwillingness, she gritted her teeth. "Aunt Thalia, are you free tomorrow? I'd like to invite you hiking."

"I'm not free."

"Aunt Thalia…" Daisy continued to wheedle, refusing to leave without a yes.
