Chapter 714 (88%)
Seeing Tyrone's stormy expression, as if he were about to explode, Tyrone shivered, his face tense. "No," he replied, "Miss Spencer was delayed in traffic. I'm waiting for her."
Typically, this would earn him a reprimand from his boss for inefficiency. Unexpectedly, however, "Mr. Hampton" sighed in relief, looking as though he'd narrowly avoided disaster.
Observing this, Tyrone shrewdly asked, "Mr. Hampton, you you don't want to divorce Mrs. Hampton, do you?"
Garry froze, shuddering. "I you, keep your mouth shut!" he warned. He was only a stand-in, and having already nearly caused a catastrophe, he couldn't afford another reckless remark.
Tyrone immediately fell silent.
Just then, June arrived, albeit late. Stern and dressed in black, she exuded competence. Annoyed, she cut straight to the point: "Let's get inside."
The sooner we finish this, the better, she thought. From now on, no one should hold anyone back.
Without a word, Garry nudged Tyrone forward. Snapping to attention, Tyrone displayed exceptional professionalism. "Miss Spencer, I apologize, but I left some documents behind. Perhaps we should postpone this."
June smirked, glancing at Garry. "Missing documents? Mr. Hampton is right here. What more do you need?"
In Lovell City, who would dare disrespect Richard Hampton? June reflected. If he wanted something, this entire building would move for him. Missing a few documents shouldn't be an issue.
Tyrone wiped his sweat. That was too hasty. He bent slightly, attempting to appeal to June's emotions. "Actually, this divorce agreement was signed by mistake, and Mr. Hampton rushed here to stop it. Miss Spencer, you wouldn't want to see Mrs. Hampton go through with this, would you? It's better to delay the divorce and give them time."
"I've already had the inaccurate online reports taken down. I hope you'll also advise Mrs. Hampton to think before making irreversible decisions," he added.
Tyrone's words echoed June's thoughts. Her expression softened slightly, but her gaze remained fixed on "Richard." "Mr. Hampton," she said, "I know it's not my place to judge, but misunderstandings grow like a snowball, eventually becoming an avalanche."
With that, June left. The divorce was postponed, much to Garry's relief. Yet, recalling June's advice, he realized he hadn't understood a word. What misunderstanding would lead to an avalanche? he wondered.
He meticulously typed her words onto his phone, crafting a message to Richard. Having already made one grave error, he didn't dare risk another.
Richard stared at the message. A snowball? he pondered. Not quite. There was never even a speck of snow. It's just I couldn't tell Tiffany yet!
He waited for the right time. As he watched Tiffany by the window, she turned. He looked pale, weakened, his hair falling over his eyes, his brows furrowed in pain.
Tiffany checked his pulse; it was chaotic, little changed from before. While the acupuncture helped, his illness required long-term treatment.
I have so many tasks. I can't stay here all the time! she sighed.
Gently patting his arm, she asked, "Mr. Cooper, how are you feeling?"
Daniel smiled faintly. "Much better."
"Your condition requires continuous acupuncture," she said, "but I'll come daily, even if I don't stay here."
Just as she was leaving, he gently tugged her hand. Pale, he spoke hoarsely, "You don't have the time, but I do. I'll stay by your side so I can receive treatment immediately if my condition worsens."
Tiffany was stunned. She'd encountered similar situations, but she hadn't expected this from Daniel. She agreed. It would be simpler to have him at Luna Villa.

"Thank you," Daniel said, smiling charmingly.
Tiffany called Christopher, who arranged for Daniel's belongings to be packed. While the servants worked, Tiffany noticed a unique fountain pen. Richard had the same pen!
"Mr. Cooper also likes this style of pen?" she asked, amused and inquisitive. "But I recall hearing the designer only created one."
Christopher's heart skipped a beat. She's about to figure it out
