Seeing Lily's silence, Jenny repeated, "Lily? Lily? Are you okay? Don't you want to go?"
Lily shook her head. "It's not that. I wouldn't want to miss such a great opportunity. However, I'm new. Aren't you worried I'll mess this up, Ms. Gray?"
Jenny chuckled. "It's just a conference. Why would you mess that up? Besides, I see potential in you. While experience is important for a perfumer, talent is crucial. "S-Sure," Lily replied, though she found the timeline rushed. Such events usually involved months of planning. Needing to prepare, Lily left early. Home was quiet; Alexander was still at work. After slipping into comfortable slippers, she played soothing music and prepared fruit tea, relishing the tranquil atmosphere.
