Edward soon returned to the car, where Alexander sat leaning against the backseat, instead of his usual upright posture. The spacious car allowed him to relax and stretch his legs; however, the dark circles under his eyes betrayed his exhaustion. He had worked tirelessly for days, finally achieving a breakthrough. He could now relay messages through the doctor to Lily, asking her to be patient. The effort, however, had taken its toll.

"Alex, that man is…" Edward began, uncertainly. The man in the photograph looked familiar; Edward recalled Alexander having dealt with him before. The thought struck him: If he's behind this, the situation will be exceedingly difficult.

"It's him," Alexander confirmed, pinching the bridge of his nose. His voice was husky, his gaze lowered. He had suspected it, and the doctor's response confirmed his suspicions.

"How could it be him? If so, wouldn't that mean the organization's mastermind is…" Edward shuddered, the implications dawning on him. If he's involved, we're facing an incredibly powerful mastermind. This explains why we've never been able to strike at the organization's core, why we couldn't find Nick, why he's being held within the Royal Palace of Yudonia, and why the organization enjoys such formidable support. At the same time, if Alex is right, this conspiracy is enormous, and we're facing a global catastrophe. What in the world are they planning?

Edward dared not contemplate it further. He glanced at his boss, noticing the deep lines etched in Alexander's brow. In his years of service, he had rarely seen Alexander so troubled.

"I must speak with Cameron about this," Alexander sighed. "This is beyond our capacity to handle alone."

Edward nodded in agreement. Indeed, it's far beyond us. Regardless of the Russell family's influence and international business success, Alexander was still just a businessman, and gaining access to individuals within the Royal Palace of Yudonia was no easy feat. Even his contact with Fred was limited.

"But Secretary Rollins…" Edward hesitated. Cameron was still attempting to infiltrate the organization through Rhea.

"We can't afford to wait," Alexander stated, shaking his head. His tone was grave. "Now that we know who's behind the organization, he doesn't need to risk his life. Let's go to the Moores' house."

"Alex, shouldn't you rest first? You haven't slept in three days," Edward urged, concerned. Alexander, having lost weight, looked gaunt, his cheeks sunken.

"We're running out of time!" he insisted. "Just drive. I'll nap in the car." He reclined, crossing his arms, attempting to snatch some sleep.

Edward, knowing he couldn't dissuade Alexander, obeyed. He drove steadily, ensuring Alexander could rest as comfortably as possible.
