"Your Majesty!" Rick quickly secured Yasmin and instructed the guards to remove Ross. The latter was initially reluctant, but yielded upon seeing his ailing mother. Even after his departure, Yasmin's breathing remained labored. Rick then returned her to her room and summoned a physician.
Following a thorough examination, the doctor shook his head. "Her Majesty's blood pressure and heart rate are dangerously elevated. We must take immediate action."
"Then do so!" Rick commanded.
"But Her Majesty is frail. I'm uncertain..." The doctor hesitated, unsure of Yasmin's ability to withstand treatment.
"You should know the consequences of any adverse outcome," Rick warned.
Alarmed, the doctor immediately began emergency treatment. Rick observed for a moment, then, recalling something, left the room and whispered instructions to a guard. Shortly, the guard brought Dominic.
"Please save her, sir," Rick pleaded courteously, aware of Yasmin's respect for Dominic.
Having been forcibly brought, Dominic adjusted his clothing and grumbled, "Who do you think you are? Why should I obey you?" Rick was momentarily speechless.
Seeing several doctors gathered around a bed, Dominic curiously approached and peered down. "Well, well, it's you."
Yasmin's eyes were closed, her brow furrowed in pain, unresponsive.
"Wasn't she fine yesterday?" Dominic muttered, watching the doctors hurriedly adjust equipment and administer an IV. The old man leaned over, gently lifting her eyelids.
Knowing his identity, the others did not interfere, simply observing. Examining Yasmin's eyes and taking her pulse, Dominic muttered something, then grunted and turned to Rick.
Puzzled, Rick stepped closer.
"What are you staring at? Tell your men to retrieve my medical kit if you want to save her." Dominic, unaware of the situation, had arrived unprepared. His tools were essential.
Rick nodded. "Immediately, sir."
He dispatched someone to collect the old man's kit. Upon his return, he found Dominic seated beside the bed, holding Yasmin's hand and gently tapping its back with a loose fist.
