Chapter 819

"Ari Ari"

Unable to think clearly, Joseph could only rely on his daughter. Arianna held his trembling hands.

"Calm down, Dad!" she said. Looking up at an employee, she instructed, "Ask the after-sales manager to tell the reporters that we are a large company and will not be dodging any questions. However, we cannot comment on whether there are problems with the perfumes, pending the lab report. If our perfumes caused the issue, we will take responsibility and compensate accordingly. However, we will take legal action if they spread rumors before the lab report is released. Also, have the PR department issue a notice stating that it's business as usual, and we will soon offer a reasonable explanation to the public regarding the perfumes."

The employee, who had come to provide an update, hurried away after receiving Arianna's calm instructions. Joseph grew calmer, reassured by his daughter's competence. "Ari, we've run out of ideas and can only rely on you now. Please save the company!"

"Don't worry, Dad. I'm a member of the Tanner family, and I won't let anything happen to our company!" Arianna said, holding his hand tightly.

Joseph nodded, then said after a moment, "Please think of ways to save your brother. With a problem this large, the stockholders will criticize him. If we can't solve this, he won't be able to take over Tanner Corporation!"

Arianna frowned and nodded. "I will, Dad. Why don't you go home and rest? You can check on Damian to ensure he doesn't do anything rash."

"You're right!" Joseph nodded profusely. "Please take care of everything here. I have to go back and make sure he stays put. We can't afford more incidents."

"Yes, he mustn't go anywhere. Oh, one more thing, Dad. Tell him not to contact that perfumer."

"Why?" Joseph asked, blinking in confusion.

"Dad, think about it! With so many people watching us, if he contacts that perfumer now—and that person was involved with the flavoring agent—reporters will think Damian is conspiring with him. It will be much harder to clear his name then!"

Joseph understood. "Yes, good point! How could I miss that? There could be something wrong with that perfumer, but I haven't received an update on him. Ari, find a way to locate him, too, okay?"

"I'll get someone on it. Dad, don't get too stressed—it's bad for your health. As for Damian, calm him down. This is the worst time to be impatient!"

Seeing Arianna's concern, Joseph remained unsuspicious. "Thank God you're here, Ari."

"I'm just doing my part for the family. Just go," she said. Pausing, she added, "Watch out for the paparazzi!"

"Okay, I leave everything to you. Call me if anything happens!"

As Arianna watched Joseph leave, her smile faded, replaced by a rigid, cold expression.
