Chapter 193: Kevin Dunphy
Nathael looked at Alex and said, "Go ahead."
Alex immediately reported, "Xander is a C-list celebrity under Starbright Entertainment. He's played some supporting roles and gained some fame. He once commissioned Ms. Adam to design a piece of jewelry for him, which became popular. His fans were pleased with the design and shipped him with her." Nathael scoffed. "How could they ship two people who've never met?"
Alex hesitated before adding, "Xander's fans believe Gianna understands him best. Gianna's appearance and background remain a mystery, which intrigues them and fuels the 'shipping.'" Alex fell silent, finding the situation ridiculous. He knew, however, that Xander was the unlucky one.
Nathael glanced through Xander's information, pausing at his photo. He snickered. "How dare he try to suck up to Maggie?"
Nathael threw the information on the desk and sternly said, "Tell the CEO of Starbright that I do not wish to see anything about Xander again."
"Got it."
Maggie had been practicing piano at home for two days to solidify her understanding of the piece. She had the basics and had practiced consistently, so there were no issues.
A: 1:00 PM.
Nathael arrived punctually at Maggie's place to pick her up. Maggie wore a blue knitted sweater and a short skirt, her hair loose. She looked clean and fresh.
They arrived at Kevin's place an hour later. Kevin and Leo came out to greet them. Kevin, wearing glasses, looked like a scholarโsophisticated despite his gray hair and wrinkles. He beamed upon seeing Maggie. "Maggie, I've been waiting for you."
Maggie introduced them: "Mr. Dunphy, this is my boyfriend, Nathael. Nathael, this is Kevin Dunphy, my piano teacher, whom I deeply respect."
Kevin then observed Nathael quietly, nodding in approval. He noticed Nathael's handsomeness and prestigious aura; he seemed both ruthless and composed.

"Cool," Kevin genuinely commented. "I can totally entrust Maggie to you."
"Thank you for supporting Maggie's dream and taking care of her all these years," Nathael said sincerely and respectfully.
Kevin smiled and waved. "Maggie is a talented girl. Those who ignored her will regret it one day. She can achieve great things pursuing a career in piano, but she'll excel even if she doesn't." "Let's go inside," he invited them. Nathael was carrying gifts. "Hand those to Leo. He's known Maggie for a while; you two must have met before, right?" Kevin continued.
Leo, wearing a beige shirt, approached Nathael to take the gifts. He greeted Nathael with a nod and looked at Maggie. "How are the competition preparations coming along? What are the rules?"
