Chapter 212: Hoping It Meets Your Satisfaction

Sierra, wearing a pink gown, entered the dressing room, her displeasure evident. She angrily called Olivia. "Mom, aren't I enough? Why involve Maggie? She humiliated me! If you keep relying on her, I might as well give up!"

Olivia, anxious, replied quickly, "Sierra, this isn't the time for outbursts. We're facing difficulties. If you help improve our situation, you'll be proud. Maggie couldn't compare to you then!"

Olivia had voiced similar concerns before, but the thought of Maggie still unsettled her. She thought, I understand she's here for the criticism, but I can still win without her and help our family. Why must we tolerate her?

Sierra remained upset, prompting Olivia to interject, "You're our daughter. Your father is using Maggie to clear a path for you. Don't be stupid. She's entangled in family affairs, and they're looking to blame her. Keep your distance."

Resentment flickered in Sierra's eyes, but she knew winning the competition was crucial for the Camerons' control. "Fine, but Maggie's jewelry mustn't overshadow mine." The Camerons hadn't supplied Maggie's dress, but Maggie was wearing Cameron jewelry, which couldn't outshine hers.

Olivia reassured her, "Don't worry, no one will outshine you on stage."

Sierra's expression brightened.

Meanwhile, Mia unwrapped the Camerons' jewelry for Maggie and frowned. The quality was acceptable, but it didn't match Sierra's; however, it was decent. Unlike Sierra's high-end jewelry, Maggie's prominently displayed the Luster Corporation logo. The rubies' style was outdated, but the logo infuriated Mia. She tossed the box onto the dressing table, startling Heidi. "Is this what the Camerons arranged? Do they think she's stupid?"

Mia, exasperated, thought, In all my years, I've never seen a reputable brand with such a large logo. It's too conspicuous!

Maggie, impassive, having received the items from Olivia, tossed them aside. She realized she was a scapegoat; Sierra's jewelry lacked logos to avoid criticism.

Mia exclaimed, "Are you sure you want to wear that? How embarrassing! Why would you, with your stunning appearance, wear such an unappealing piece? You're not lacking funds!"

Maggie contemplated the necklace.

Sierra returned, sneering at the jewelry. "You've never seen precious jewelry, right? These rubies aren't top-tier, but they suit you!" Her disdain was evident as she admired her own necklace. Alex approached Maggie with a black briefcase.

"Ms. Adam, Mr. Harris is grateful for your assistance. He asked me to deliver this jewelry, hoping it meets your satisfaction." He opened the briefcase.

The commotion drew attention.

"Oh my goodness! The mysterious buyer at Soria Auction House was Mr. Harris!"

"The ruby set sold for one hundred and fifty million! He gifted it to Maggie!"

"Look! The Camerons' set looks dull in comparison. The oversized logo is so outdated! The Camerons never disappoint!"

Whispers turned to Sierra's necklace. "Isn't that from the Camerons, too? It's still inferior to Mr. Harris's gift!"

Sierra's face flushed with anger. The jewelry she wore felt like a cheap imitation compared to Maggie's. She felt humiliated.

Mia grinned, delighted. "Mr. Harris is generous. Those subpar goods are only fit for Ms. Cameron herself!" She tossed the Camerons' rubies into Sierra's arms.

Sierra glared at Maggie. "Maggie, why are you in this competition? You're using the Camerons' belongings. We raised you, so if you're not wearing Luster's jewelry, don't blame me for being blunt!"

Maggie smirked at Mia. "Did you capture that on video?"

Mia hesitated. "Yes, but Ms. Cameron might not look flattering."
