Chapter 108
Victor gritted his teeth and glared at Severin. His calculations showed Severin would be disabled were it not for his good relationship with Draco Hall's supreme leader. To worsen matters, Severin seemed oblivious to his own peril, boldly confronting their family.
Severin's expression remained cold. "I want you all to kneel, slap yourselves ten times, and promise never to trouble me or my family again. Don't even think of leaving until you've obeyed!"
"Surround them!" Larry instructed his men. Hearing Severin's cold words, he knew the Dracodeus Temple's Supreme Leader was furious. None of those fools realized the formidability of the person they'd offended!
Dozens of Draco Hall's men immediately surrounded the Stones.
"I'm the head of the Stones, Severin. Do you expect me to kneel to someone like you?" Victor's face was red and his eyes bloodshot; his expression was frightening. "Are you sure you can afford to make such demands? How dare you order me to kneel!"
"Why wouldn't I?" Severin, hands behind his back, stepped forward, head slightly raised like a sovereign. "Next time you have a problem with me, come at me directly. Threatening and assaulting my parents is weak. They're old and defenseless, yet you and your bodyguards showed no mercy."
"Didn't you hear him?" Blade asked fiercely. "Kneel! Do you think you can refuse my brother's demands?" He glared viciously at those surrounded by him and his men.
Victor exhaled heavily, his mouth twitching.
"But, Victor" Prunella felt fear. Her thoughts of revenge vanished; she never expected Severin to be backed by such powerful individuals, let alone be on good terms with Larry, the Supreme Commander of Draco Hall and one of the underground's three big shots. (Remove the website plug)
"I'll count to ten. If you don't kneel and apologize, I'll kill everyone here to show you the consequences of offending me!" Severin threatened, seeing the Stones still standing.
Diane, standing behind him, stared in fright. Was this the man who'd smiled at her and Selene earlier? The handsome, gentle Severin she knew?
Severin exuded a domineering aura, a despotic ruler none dared provoke.
Even so, Diane understood his anger; she knew how difficult it must have been to remain calm seeing his elderly parents bullied. These people had provoked Severin, and they would suffer the consequences. He was like a true dragon.
"Severin, burning bridges isn't wise," Victor gritted out. "One two"
Severin ignored him, continuing to count.
"Okay, okay!" Victor, realizing he'd met a ruthless person, gritted his teeth and knelt as Severin reached three.
Upon Victor's kneeling, his bodyguards, Prunella, and Cecil followed suit. Jada resented it but had no choice but to kneel unwillingly.
