Chapter 124

The young girl smiled slightly and asked Diane, "Are you satisfied?"

Diane's red lips parted slightly, and she covered her mouth. "You're you're too strong!"

"Goodness me," Maurice gulped. "Your strength is just out of this world! Your salary must be very high too!" He had previously felt they looked too pampered to be bodyguards, but their display of strength truly frightened him.

"Don't worry, Dad," Severin said with a smile. "They've already been paid. It'll be much safer now that they're here to accompany you whenever you go out. I can finally rest easy!" A dull thud echoed as the girl placed the stone lion on the ground. The ground seemed to tremble slightly.

She dusted her hands, walked over, smiled at Diane, and said, "Ma'am, I'm the weakest of the six. If you don't believe me, you can ask one of them for another demonstration!"

"I'll do it!" Another woman stood up and started to approach.

"No, no, no! I trust you!" Diane was terrified. Recovering from her shock, she smiled awkwardly. "Who hired you, by the way? It's amazing he could find bodyguards as strong as you!" [Remove the website promotion]

The prettiest woman smiled. "Him? He's someone who ranks at the very top. He's very strong!"

"Is that so?" Diane was skeptical. While the women possessed considerable skill, they were also exceptionally good at boasting.

"By the way, let me introduce myself! My name is Wendy Newman!" Their leader stepped forward.

"Mine is Lillie Sloan!" The girl, who appeared to be in her late teens, smiled sweetly.

"My name is Kiera Redmond!" said the curviest woman.

"I'm Abigail Reid!"

"And I'm Bailey Wilde!"

"My name is Naomi Jenson!"

All six women stepped forward and introduced themselves.

"As for your rooms, there are plenty of empty ones upstairs and downstairs. Feel free to choose whichever you like!" Diane offered. "Make yourselves at home. You're welcome to join us for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well!"

"Thanks for the offer, but we're just bodyguards. We'll be fine managing our own meals," Lillie smiled.

"That works too," Diane agreed.

After considering his situation, Severin told his parents, "Mom, Dad, since we have bodyguards now, I might as well hire some servants tomorrow. We'll need people to clean the house and cook for us. There's a row of houses at the back specifically for servants, and it would be a waste to leave them empty!"

Judith rolled her eyes. "It would be a waste of money to hire so many people!"

Severin smiled. "But having more people around would be good too. It would be far below normal living standards if we didn't hire servants for such a large villa. Besides, we're rich now, too!"

"Alright, you make the call," Judith said with a pleased and grateful tone. "I guess I'll just enjoy my life in the future!"
