Chapter 64

"That's actually a very good plan!" Easton examined his severed, gauze-wrapped finger, anger simmering. This plan offered a much-needed outlet for his rage. More importantly, the thought of Diane's beautiful face and near-perfect figure made his mouth water.

"No!" Lucy vetoed the plan, clearly unhappy it had even been suggested. Turning to Jada, she protested, "Won't I be cuckolded? Don't you think this is going overboard? You're asking me to watch my husband have sex with another woman while secretly taking pictures! Would you accept that if you were in my shoes?"

Easton’s demeanor shifted. "Lucy, you need to consider the bigger picture. Didn't you see how arrogant that bastard was today? Think about the money your family paid him, and look at my finger! Don't you want revenge?"

Lucy gritted her teeth, recalling the day's events, but remained firm. "As much as I want revenge, I can't watch my husband be intimate with another woman!" Her gaze fell on Patrick, and she had a sudden realization. "Why does it have to be you, Easton? Why can't Patrick do it?"

Patrick, initially engrossed in his cousin's plan, froze at Lucy's suggestion. Excitement surged. "Right! Let me do it! I almost forgot I'm a man too! I'd be perfect for the role!"

A flicker of disappointment crossed Easton's eyes. Experiencing a woman like Diane, even once, was a dream for many men. He worried this opportunity would go to Patrick. If not for Lucy's presence, he wouldn't even consider conceding. His reluctance stemmed solely from her being there.

"Yeah, I almost forgot you have a wife, Easton! Patrick doesn't even have a girlfriend," Jada pointed out.

Easton remained hesitant, arguing, "Are you sure Fat Pat can do it? Look how fat he is! Diane is the eldest daughter of a third-tier upper-class family. Yes, she was disowned, but I don't think she'll say yes to an obese guy. She'd probably rather stay in debt with Severin than be seen with Pat's flabby physique!"

Patrick bristled. While the Loughs were wealthier and he frequented Easton's company, opportunities with a woman like Diane were rare. He wasn't about to give this up. He put his hands on his chest, a cold smile playing on his lips. "How do you know she'll say no to me? Just because I'm fat? That's fat-shaming! I don't think your main goal is revenge on Severin. You just want to sleep with Diane, don't you?" He continued, taunting, "Hehe, if you act like this with your wife present, I can't imagine what you do behind her back!"

"You're asking to get beaten up, aren't you, Patrick?" Easton was enraged by Patrick's animosity, especially over a woman. [The sentence fragment and advertising text following this are removed as they are not part of the original narrative.]
