Chapter 65

"Don't you dare cross the line, Easton. I think Fat Pat's right. Seeing you talk about another woman right in front of me makes me wonder if you did anything else behind my back." Lucy, angered by Patrick's comment, glared at Easton.

She was already heartbroken from her ruined wedding, and Easton's behavior felt insulting and humiliating.

Easton, seeing Lucy's anger, hurriedly explained, "Don't listen to him, Lucy. My only goal is revenge against Severin. I swear that's all I'm focused on. He broke my finger for no reason! Don't you want to see me get revenge?"

Jada, exasperated, rolled her eyes. "Enough! We haven't even started the plan, and you two are already arguing! We need to hurry; the Severin family might finish their meal and leave!"

"In that case, which one of us will… you know…" Patrick leered at Jada. [Remove the promotional sentence]

Jada looked at Easton. "It's inappropriate for you, Easton. You're married; your wife's feelings should come first. Patrick can do it."

Easton, deferring to Jada, nodded. "You're right. Thanks for reminding me."

Still angry, he quickly appeased Lucy. "Don't be mad, babe. I'll buy you an LV bag tomorrow!"

"Hmph, that's better!" Lucy's mood improved slightly.

"Let's go through the back door. We don't want Severin to see us," Jada said, leading them out.

After reaching the restaurant's second floor, she spoke briefly with the manager.

Easton then said, "Severin's a skilled fighter now. We should call some family bodyguards."

Lucy agreed. "Easton's right! Your family's bodyguards must be pros!"

Jada smiled coldly. "It'll be too late by the time they arrive. But I know One-Eye; he has many men in the area. I'll call him."

"Great! Tell him to bring as many as possible," Easton said happily.

"I'll ask the waitress to bring Diane to this private room. We'll hide next door; there's a secret door. We'll open it slightly and record a video."

Jada smiled wickedly and led them into the private room.

"Wow! A secret door!" Easton exclaimed, looking around. "Where is it?"

"Right here…" Jada pushed a corner of the wall, revealing a small room. Lucy frowned. "This is a private dining room? Why's there a secret door?"

Jada replied bluntly, "Are you stupid? When VIPs book this room, the manager alerts me. I use this room to eavesdrop on their business discussions. It helps our family get a leg up on the competition."
