Chapter 72
Diane felt disturbed by his request, but the thought of Selene and Severin also made her uneasy. She bit her lip and said, "Severin promised to come up if I'm not downstairs in ten minutes. Time's almost up, so you'd best let me go. If he has to come up here for me, you won't get off so easily!"
Patrick cackled. "Haha, do you think he'll even get the chance? Why would those guys downstairs let him pass? Are you stupid? Whatever, tonight I have fun with Severin's woman!" He pounced on her.
"Get off me, you bastard!" Seeing his intent, Diane's face paled, and she dashed aside. Unfortunately, the copious wine had made her dizzy. Wearing high heels, she sprained her foot and fell.
"Agh!" she cried out.
She had dodged his assault, for the moment. Patrick, further stimulated by her cry of pain and the glimpse of more skin, gulped. "Haha, be a good girl. I'll make sure your meal is free, and I'll even give you a thousand-dollar tip!"
"Get away!" Diane gritted her teeth, trying to stand, but the pain in her ankle forced her back down.
"Hehe, stubborn girl. Let's see how stubborn you are!" Patrick prepared to attack again.
Seconds later, a loud bang echoed as the door burst open.
"S-S-Severin? H-how…?" Patrick, still traumatized by the hotel incident, recoiled in terror. He took several steps back, panicking.
Severin, his face cold, shielded Diane and glared at Patrick. "Patrick, you son-of-a-bitch! Don't you know what happens to those who touch my woman?"
Patrick straightened. "Hmph! I summoned those guys downstairs! Dare you touch a hair on my head! You won't walk out of here alive!"
Ignoring his threats, Severin immediately kicked him in the groin.
