Chapter 960
Philips's lackeys scattered in fear. No one dared intervene.
To everyone's surprise, the landlady pleaded, "Please stop! I'll call the police if this fighting continues in my establishment!"
Shane was taken aback. Disbelief filled his face as he stared at her. He'd expected to be the hero, but now felt like the villain.
Emmanuel retorted sharply, "Ma'am, you saw them bullying Red and dragging her by the neck. Why didn't you call the police then?"
The landlady was speechless.
Emmanuel continued, "So, you think bullying is acceptable, but intervening is not? What kind of logic is that? You're aiding and abetting them!"
The landlady flushed with shame.
Seeing the landlady's failure to dissuade Emmanuel, Philips shouted, "Damn it! Call our people! All our brothers! Let's see if these two brats are so brave then!"
"Yes, boss!" His subordinates made calls.
Emmanuel remained fearless.
Terence, observing from the sidelines, said, "Manny, bring their boss over. I have questions."
"Okay."
Emmanuel pulled Philips onto the table.
Bang! Philips's face slammed against the wood. The shock stunned everyone.
Terrified, Philips wondered how Emmanuel had caught him.

"Big bro, tell me where you're from. Let's talk this out. You don't want to—"
Emmanuel interrupted ruthlessly, "Enough. I'll never consider someone like you, a scum of society, as a friend, let alone family. Even if we were related, I'd cut you off."
Philips was flummoxed. His pride was wounded. They knew Emmanuel wouldn't yield to pressure.
"Are the hooligans at Alton's mine from the Flightstones Gang?" Terence asked, his kind expression a result of his Quillen upbringing.
"Who are you, old fart? What's the mine to you—"
Smack! Emmanuel slapped Philips.
"Respect your elders!" Emmanuel reprimanded.
Terence smiled, impressed by his son-in-law's character. He valued Emmanuel's respect for elders and care for the young.
"How dare you?! Let me go! Or you won't leave this restaurant alive!"
Humiliated, Philips decided to fight back. Apologizing would damage his authority.
His lackeys, emboldened, shouted, "That's right! We may not be as skilled, but the Flightstones Gang is large and united! Release our boss, or we'll fight to the death! We have experts, and our boss knows Sinclair Zamora of the Templar Valor. He won't spare you!"
Emmanuel ignored them.
Terence's eyes lit up. "Oh? You know the Templar Valor? Sinclair Zamora?"
