Chapter 128
At the filming site, Sierra and Vicky stared at a photograph for a long time before looking at Stacey with admiring faces. Stacey felt nervous under their scrutiny.
Sierra grabbed Stacey's hand, exclaiming, "Becky, do you really have all these clothes, bags, and jewelry?" Stacey's heart raced. Looking into Sierra's eyes, she turned to Vicky. "Yes… I took these photos in my family's walk-in closet and storage back home. They were gifts from my parents and brothers before I returned." "Before you returned?" Vicky asked.
Stacey nodded. "Yep. I got separated from my family when I was little. But my parents and brothers have always been good to me. They not only left a room for me at home, but they also bought me many things every year. I have everything a girl could want."
"Are these things all gifts from them?" Sierra asked, thrilled.
Thinking of those gifts, Stacey felt happy. She nodded. "Yes."
Sierra was envious. She thought, 'How can someone be this lucky?'
"I don't believe it, Becky! Can you take me to see them? I won't rest until I see it with my own eyes!" Sierra pleaded, holding Stacey's hand.
Vicky rubbed her temples, embarrassed for Sierra. Pulling Sierra aside, she reminded her, "Control yourself. Today is our first official meeting with Becky. Don't embarrass yourself."
Tears in her eyes, Sierra looked at Vicky. "Vicky, what's the point of being reserved? I want to see Becky's walk-in closet!"
Sierra cried, "I don't care! I've never seen such a luxurious closet. Let me see it once! It would make my dreams more beautiful."
"Just keep daydreaming," Vicky laughed.
Stacey chuckled. "Those clothes are back in my hometown, far away. Otherwise, I'd take you to see it."
Sierra's eyes lit up. "So, if we go to your hometown, I can see the closet?"
Not just Sierra, even Vicky looked at Stacey expectantly.
Stacey was stunned, then hesitated. "Aren't you worried it's far?"
Sierra pondered, then earnestly asked, "How far? The ends of the earth? Anywhere I can walk to, I'm in!" Malcolm chuckled, finding Sierra adorable.
He thought, 'Becky's family background is enviable.'
Stacey chuckled. "All right, Sierra. If you want to see it, you're welcome anytime."
Thrilled, Sierra said, "It's a deal! You're not lying, right?"
"Of course not," Stacey replied, smiling.
Sierra was overjoyed, her hands trembling. She turned to Vicky, gripping her hand. "Vicky, did you hear that? Becky's willing to show me her closet! Oh my goodness! If I get to see it, I could die tomorrow with no regrets!"
Vicky was speechless, but envied Becky's closet. If not for filming The Empress, she would have gone.
"Since you're planning to go, why not make a trip before filming begins?" Vicky suggested. Turning to Stacey, she added, "Becky, aren't you planning to use those clothes for your scenes? You could all go together, pick out outfits and jewelry, and bring them here. It'll make filming easier."
Sierra's eyes lit up. "So, I can go straight to Becky's closet now?"
Vicky glanced at Stacey, then back at Sierra. "You need to ask Becky."
Sierra immediately turned to Stacey. Stacey nodded, smiling, "Of course."
Ecstatic, Sierra hugged Stacey tightly. "Oh, Becky, you're the best! My babe!"
Vicky, though envious, added, "Don't forget the other character styles, especially Raymond's." She glanced at Malcolm. The lead actress's costume and style were crucial, as was the male lead's. They needed to match.
Sierra inwardly exclaimed, 'I'm done for. Becky has all those rare outfits. Where will I find clothes for the male lead?'
"How about we make the male lead broke?" Sierra chuckled.
"Buzz off!" Vicky snapped. She wouldn't allow script changes.
"Maybe we can use Adrian's old clothes. Malcolm is similar in build to Adrian," Debra, who had been silent, chimed in, smiling. Everyone looked at Debra, Stacey's mother. Stacey looked surprised.
Debra smiled at her daughter. "Your brother has a lot of clothes I bought him, but he hardly wears them."
Stacey remembered Debra liked shopping. "Better ask Adrian first," Stacey insisted. Those clothes belonged to Adrian.
Debra nodded. "Sure thing!"
Sierra and Vicky were shocked; Malcolm was pleasantly surprised. He'd prepared to wear the production's clothes, but now there was a chance to wear Becky's brother's clothes.
'Will Becky's brother agree?' Malcolm wondered.
