Chapter 103/104
Seeing Gu Qichen's icy demeanor, Xia Yangyang felt a twinge of fear. She was covered in red rashes, even in her private areas, making her too embarrassed to let him apply medicine. Furthermore, she still resented him.
Xia Yangyang turned away. "Even if you tried, you wouldn't beat me," she said. A fifth-degree black belt in taekwondo, she felt confident despite his physical advantage. He seemed too refined and fair-skinned to be a match for her in a fight.
Gu Qichen didn't respond. He stepped forward and reached for her shirt. Xia Yangyang fought back, but he swiftly pinned her to the bed. She was astonished by his skill.
"Let me go!" she yelled.
He smirked, looking down at her. "Don't show off your little tricks. They're nothing more than fancy footwork."
Insulted—she'd practiced for over a decade, winning countless medals—Xia Yangyang gritted her teeth. Like an eel, she wriggled free, seized his collar, and flung him onto the bed. She pinned him down, pressing her whole body on him.
"How's this? Still think I'm a pushover?" she asked triumphantly.
Gu Qichen laughed. "It seems you're feeling better. With this much energy, why not" He leaned closer.
Xia Yangyang's face flushed; her heart raced. He moved closer, overwhelming her. Her defenses dropped despite her alarm. She retreated as he advanced.
Then, quickly, he grabbed her and flipped her over. He pinned her to the bed, mimicking her earlier position. The atmosphere turned romantic.
An anxious Xia Yangyang yelled, "Gu Qichen, what are you doing?"
He raised an eyebrow. "You."
Understanding his insinuation, she blushed crimson. What a ruffian! His suggestive words, spoken softly, were intoxicating. But she retained some composure.
"Gu Qichen, we're in a hospital!"
He smirked mischievously. "Perfect. I've never tried it in a hospital before!"
