"You can't say such things! Since I've invited you all to the manor, I'm not going to delay our departure to take him with us!" Grant said with a smile, gesturing with his hand. He'd already planned on leaving Trevor behind once they arrived, just to see him humiliated. In a place like Willard Villa, how could a poor guy like Trevor possibly be allowed entry without the receptionist throwing him out?
"Grant, you're so generous! I really admire you!" Bernard flattered him.
Trevor, witnessing this, was both angry and apprehensive. He suspected something was amiss when they arrived at the manor. Grant, deliberately leaving his car key in the vehicle, asked Trevor to retrieve it. By the time Trevor returned, Grant had already led everyone inside. He then looked around expectantly, seemingly waiting for Trevor's humiliation.
"Looks like he plans to leave me out, huh? Does he really think I won't be allowed in?" Trevor muttered, snorting. He glanced at the receptionist, who was subtly covering her palm prints with makeup. "Mr Hello, boss."
