"What kind of status commands a sovereign-grade fighter?" Klein's face turned solemn. "Those who command sovereign-grade fighters are incredibly powerful individuals at the apex of the world. They can alter national fates with a single word!"

He looked pensive. "I also recall something about Drake. If I'm correct, Dustin Fox rules the underworld—he's the King of Hades!"

The sentence blanched everyone's faces. Shock rippled through the room. The King of Hades was terrifying. He had single-handedly killed the former underworld ruler, destroyed the Shadow Dynasty, and created Hell Hall, becoming the new ruler within a few years. Over time, Hell Hall's actions instilled widespread fear. The King of Hades's reputation for ferocity and power preceded him.

Hearing this, the Zimmer family members felt their hearts sink. They finally understood the pressure Klein had faced.

"That guyis the King of Hades?" Jack mumbled, his face paling. He felt his soul leaving his body. He had demanded that the King of Hades kneel… and the King of Hades hadn't killed him. Jack realized Klein had saved his life.

"The Langley family has the King of Hades's protection? Amara, you've gotten me into terrible trouble!" Jack roared.

"Amara? What's going on?" Klein asked, frowning.

The Zimmer family explained their contract termination.

"You idiots! You bastards!" Klein exploded, massively disappointed. "Have you fed your brain cells to the dogs?! How could you let a woman manipulate you like this?!" His chest heaved with rage. No one dared answer.

“Amara Wyatt, how dare you…” Klein's eyes burned.

Just then, someone entered. "Mr. Klein, Ms. Amara Wyatt sent gifts, hoping for Mr. Jack's speedy recovery."

"Throw them out!" Klein said coldly.

Meanwhile, Amara listened to a servant's report at home. She already knew of Klein's rage.

"Good. The angrier he is, the better," Amara said, satisfied. She would simply wait for the Zimmer family to attack Dustin and reap the rewards.

Another report arrived. "Dustin went to the Zimmer family? He's walked straight into his grave. Excellent!" Amara sneered. "Considering Klein's temper, even if Dustin survives, he'll be crippled." But soon, bad news followed.

"Dustin left unharmed? How is that possible?" She was incredulous.

"Ms. Amara, more bad news!"

A badly injured servant was carried in—the same one sent with gifts to Jack. Amara frowned, puzzled.

"What happened?" she asked.

"Ms. Amara, I was beaten without a chance to speak, to defend myself. They didn't even take the gifts," the servant groaned. Amara frowned. "Tell me everything."

The servant recounted the events, leaving Amara even more perplexed. "What went wrong?"

"Ms. Amara, Mr. Klein asked me to give you a message."

"What is it?"

"We'll settle this with you later."

Amara froze.
