Chapter 84

"Bella, don't tell Amara how Dustin humiliated me," Delia pleaded with Bella on their way back to the Wyatt family villa. "Why not? That bastard dared to make you apologize to him! That's even more reason to tell Amara; she'll take care of him." Bella didn't understand Delia's reluctance.

"Amara will scold me if she finds out I apologized to Dustin," Delia sighed. Amara managed the Wyatt family's affairs and wouldn't tolerate anyone damaging their reputation.

"That piece of trash! One day, I'll make him beg for forgiveness. He'll repay me a thousand times over!" Delia said viciously.

Bella remained silent. Delia had only gone to the clinic to treat Bella's condition; she wouldn't have been humiliated by Dustin otherwise.

After a moment, Bella said solemnly, "Don't worry, Delia, I'll get you justice! That awful Dustin is nothing but a Wyatt family dog. He's so bold now, it's only a matter of time before I take him down!"

"There's no need, Bella," Delia sighed again, quickening her pace. Bella, once an A-list celebrity with considerable influence, was now out of work and fading from relevance, unable to help Delia.

Seeing the doubt in Delia's eyes, Bella felt her heart sink. It was agonizing that even her own sister no longer believed her. How long could she maintain her popularity? I know I'll definitely make a comeback one day! she thought angrily. When the time comes, all I need to do is say one word, and people will be fighting to get back at Dustin for me.

Back at the Wyatt family villa, the sisters didn't discuss the day's events. Seeing Bella seemed back to normal, her sisters were overjoyed and didn't question what had happened.

"Bella, a man came to see you today. He left his number," Amara said, handing Bella a slip of paper. "He said he's an investor for a fantasy TV series."

Hearing the series name, Bella trembled. Wasn't that the series she'd auditioned for and lost to that Langley brat? She still hadn't gotten over losing the lead role, especially the directors' rude dismissal.

Bella hurriedly called the number. After a short conversation, her face lit up.

"You want me to be the lead actress? You're sure? Okay, it doesn't matter how much the fees are, as long as I have the role!" Bella exclaimed excitedly. The man was the series' biggest investor, a fan who'd been displeased by the casting of the "half-baked brat." The investor's anger had led to the directors' resignation, and he was now hiring new staff.

Bella was both happy and shocked. This was incredible news after her recovery. She desperately needed a project to avoid being forgotten.

"Mr. Xander, what about Camille Langley?" Bella asked, a gleam in her eyes, remembering Camille was Dustin's girlfriend's sister, another Langley. Feeling vindicated, she asked about Camille's fate.

"That university student can have whatever leftover role we have. You can decide what role she gets, Miss Bella," the investor replied.
