Chapter 116

Although the Wyatt family didn't know why Lucas remained hidden in Rivenesco, their resurgence would undoubtedly shock the world. Their comeback eliminated the threat of the Zimmer family and allowed them to punish Dustin, a long-overdue retribution for their recent suffering.

"Lydia also asked if you've found the treasure," Margaret said.

"We did! It was in the secret room, but Dustin took it! He killed Lord Barbenheim, too!" Amara revealed grimly, briefly recounting the events.

Margaret frowned. "That boy had the audacity! What an ignorant fool!" she said coldly. "The Wyatt family is now implicated in the deaths of Lord Barbenheim and his son. That mysterious person is someone we can't afford to offend, even with our comeback. Let's keep this quiet for now. Once I report this to Central Harbor, I'll have Lydia meet that person and shift all blame to Dustin. He will face the consequences."

"Ideally, we capture Dustin before he acts," she continued. "Then we'll hand him over for punishment. That person might then owe us a favor."

The Wyatt sisters nodded.

"As for the treasure—retrieve it, no matter the cost!" Margaret's expression turned serious.

"Got it!" Amara replied readily.

Margaret smiled proudly.

"Don't worry, Amara and Elisa. I'll help. I have plenty of tricks," Bianca said with a grin, her expression then hardening. "Dustin's just a dog; I'll make sure to avenge you!"

"I'll leave that to you, Bianca," Elisa smiled.

Bianca, known for her cunning, might actually succeed in punishing Dustin.

"The best way to defeat someone is a psychological attack," Bianca said confidently. "I'll isolate him, leaving him with no one to help."

"Good. Begin preparations," Margaret dismissed Bianca.

That night, Clara and Delia, accompanied by the ailing Bella, flew to Central Harbor. The virtually bankrupt Wyatt Group's account suddenly received a massive infusion of funds—more than ten times its previous worth.

The next day, Margaret took control of the Wyatt Group and launched a fierce counterattack against the Zimmer family. Within half a day, the Zimmer family was routed, unable to withstand the onslaught.

"What happened to the Wyatt family? Where did they get this money?" The Zimmer family members gathered, their faces grim. Chapter 116

"The Wyatt family has changed overnight. They have seemingly limitless funds. We've lost."

"If this continues, we're finished. We can't fight back."

"We can't stop now! The Wyatt family is destroying us!"

Panic gripped the Zimmer family.

"We have no choice but to ask him for help" Klein sighed in defeat.

Meanwhile, Amara and Elisa reveled in the Zimmer family's downfall, laughing at their misery.

"Our family is different now," Amara declared ambitiously. "No one in Rivenesco can challenge us!"

This influx of money, she felt, would finally allow her to prove her worth.

"Time for me to shine," Bianca chuckled.
