Chapter 168
Before Dustin could confront Bianca, her men arrived.
"How dare you address Miss Bianca directly? You don't know your place! You'll be punished!" Lewis barked, pointing at Dustin with a stern face. Dustin calmly replied, "Yes, punishment is definitely in order."
"Then go ahead, or shall I assist?" Lewis sneered.
His words were barely out when his vision blurred.
Smack!
A deafening slap echoed. Lewis grimaced, sent flying, and crashed headfirst into a nearby flower bed. Blood trickled from his nose and mouth. Shock and anger warred within him.
He couldn't comprehend who had struck him. He hadn't even seen it coming. He represented the Winter family! How dare anyone?
He roared, "What the f*ck?! Are you mad?!"
Smack!
Another blow sent him sprawling. His face turned shades of red and purple.
"Who who was that?" he stammered, glancing around frantically.
"A letter for you, My Liege," a Hell Guard respectfully presented Bianca's letter to Dustin.
He opened it and read:
[Dustin Fox, how dare you?! You killed Lord Barbenheim and destroyed the Aquila family! Are you not worried about the martial artists' law? Your crimes are punishable by death, a thousand times over! The Wyatt family supported you for over ten years, showing you kindness, yet you betrayed my cousins. You should go to hell! If you weren't adopted by Lucas Wyatt, they would have exposed your crimes for killing Lord Barbenheim long ago. You're a disgrace!
You killed the Aquila family at their villa and then my people! How dare you?! Have you forgotten groveling before me?
Calling you a fool is a compliment. You left so much evidence at the Aquila villa—I have footage! I could expose you at any moment!
I'm giving you a chance. Hand over the guards Lucas Wyatt entrusted to you as compensation for the Winter family fighters you killed. Obey, or I'll take this evidence to the Martial League and the Winter family of Central Harbor. You'll be severely punished!]
Bianca's letter dripped with contempt and her usual arrogance.
Dustin had once been cautious and respectful towards the Wyatt family, humble and polite even to Bianca, a distant relative. He had allowed her to order him around. Perhaps his past humility had inflated her ego, making her believe she could still control him.
"Miss Bianca has quite a temper," Lewis sneered from the ground. "You'd better do as she says, or you'll never know how you died!" Dustin frowned in disgust.
"Quite a sharp mouth," he said. "Knock out all his teeth."
The Hell Guards obeyed brutally and efficiently. After seconds of screaming, Lewis was left with a bloody mouth, his eyes wide with fear.
"Miss Bianca won't let you get away with this," he mumbled, trembling.
"I won't spare her either," Dustin replied.
Lewis eventually stumbled out of the West family villa, retreating to report everything to Bianca.
