Chapter 169

Bianca stood by the window of a lavish hotel suite, her delicate face contorted with rage. A disheveled Lewis knelt before her, his swollen face stained with blood. His teeth were knocked out, and he stammered a tale of humiliation and suffering at the West family villa. He recounted Dustin’s blatant insolence and ruthlessness. “Miss Bianca,” he wheezed, “Dustin…he doesn’t respect you! He doesn’t respect anyone! People like him won’t learn their place unless you crush them!”

Bianca narrowed her eyes, a chilling ferocity in their depths. “Oh, Dustin, so you refuse the easy way out and insist on challenging me? Fine! Do you think the world revolves around you? Do you think no one can bring you down? Let me show you there’s always someone stronger.”

She had hoped to threaten Dustin into surrendering the damning evidence, but his indifference showed her he wasn’t afraid to gamble his life.

She slipped into her coat and strode from the suite, determined to find someone capable of destroying him. She soon arrived at the Cain family villa in Somerton.

“I’m Bianca Winter. I wish to speak with Mr. Victor Cain at his earliest convenience,” she said politely to the gatekeeper.

The servant entered the villa to relay her message and quickly returned. “Miss Winter, Mr. Cain will see you.”

Bianca entered the villa and met Victor, the national hero. An elderly man with a sharp gaze, he was dressed in a crisp suit, radiating the calm confidence of someone accustomed to command. His presence was impossible to ignore.

“Miss Winter, to what do I owe the pleasure?” Victor asked, smiling.

“Mr. Cain,” Bianca said respectfully, “I’ve come to seek justice. You are an esteemed figure in Lannopolis’s martial arts world…”

She looked righteous and indignant. “Lucas Wyatt, head of the Wyatt family in Rivenesco, adopted a boy—Dustin Fox—who was later disowned for ungrateful and treacherous behavior. Instead of repenting, he came to Lannopolis and committed unspeakable atrocities! I urged him to surrender. Not only did he refuse, but he also assaulted my men and threatened to silence me if I didn’t hand over the evidence!” She handed Victor a video showing the annihilation of the Aquila family.

Victor’s face darkened as he watched. With a thunderous slap on the table, he declared, “Outrageous! How dare he commit such a slaughter in Lannopolis and still flaunt his arrogance? This man must be brought to justice under the law of martial artists! If no one else in Lannopolis can stop him, I will.”

“Miss Winter, rest assured. I will summon my peers in the Lannopolis martial community at once. Together, we will bring this criminal to account!”

Bianca smiled, a glimmer of triumph in her eyes. ‘Dustin, you think you’re untouchable?’ she thought. ‘You think a handful of Lucas Wyatt’s best fighters makes you invincible?’

Chapter 169

She had secured Lannopolis’s strongest martial artist. Dustin’s downfall was inevitable!

Bonus

Back at the West family villa, a squad of enforcers in distinctive uniforms stormed through the gates.

“We are from the Martial League. By order of Mr. Victor Cain, we are here to summon the murderer, Dustin Fox!” their leader bellowed.

The West family froze, their faces pale with dread. Dustin, however, remained calm.

The Martial League, an organization established by Lovellia to oversee martial artists, held unmatched authority. They drafted and enforced the law of martial artists with an iron fist, acting as judge, jury, and executioner for anyone who transgressed.
