Listen to this chapter:

A young, handsome man with a charismatic presence arrived at the airport, immediately attracting the attention of many young women. Someone gasped, "He must be very important if Lannopolis officers are personally welcoming him." The speaker noted familiar faces among the welcoming party. As the man exited the gate, the greeters rushed forward, only to be held back by men in black and white uniforms. Elisa, however, pushed through.

"Who are you? Get out of the way!" a member of the man's escort demanded.

"Timothy Bones! It's been far too long," Elisa exclaimed.

Timothy smiled upon recognizing her. "Indeed. Far too long," he replied.

The assembled crowd gasped at their exchange. "He's from the Bones family!" one whispered. Another added, "The Bones family is one of the Seven Clans of Central Harbor! They're an old, influential family!" The crowd was stunned; the Bones family held numerous high-ranking positions and wielded immense power, rumored to influence much of Lovellia's affairs.

"Let her through!" Timothy commanded. The surrounding individuals instantly treated Elisa with deference. Pleased, she flounced to stand before him.

"It's only been half a year, but you've risen rapidly. I'm impressed!" she smiled. Timothy returned the smile. "You've changed too. Much more enticing since school," he complimented. They had been classmates and acquaintances.

"I was thrilled to hear you were coming; that's why I arrived early," Elisa said, patting his shoulder. "I heard you've been assigned something important…"

Timothy grinned. "The higher-ups sent me to Lannopolis to investigate the Aquila family case. Not necessarily very important, but I do have influence here."

"But you know the criminal in question, right?" Elisa asked.

"Dustin Fox. Expelled from your family, he's been operating freely with the help of remnants from the Wyatt family patriarch's fighters. He's lawless and has committed serious crimes!" Timothy's face hardened.

"He's been causing the Wyatt family considerable trouble, hasn't he?" Elisa's face contorted with hatred.

"I'm here to handle him. Timothy, you'll help, right?" she asked.

"Of course," Timothy reassured her. "Not just because we're friends. Delia also requested my assistance. I couldn't refuse a request from the Medical Sage's student."

Elisa was ecstatic. With Timothy's societal and governmental position, and the two forces she could now re-integrate into her family, she could utterly crush Dustin.

"Tell me honestly, how much power do you have?" she asked softly.

Timothy smirked. "A word from me, and the city's forces mobilize. I can even command national heroes!"

"He's just someone kicked out of the Wyatt family. I can have him eliminated with a single word."

Elisa's radiant smile reflected her overwhelming joy.
