Listen to this chapter:

Timothy and Elisa arrived at the Cain family villa in Lannopolis, bypassing the hotel arranged for Timothy by the city's officials. Their motorcade stopped at the entrance, and they exited the vehicle, heading directly for the front door.

"May I ask who you are, esteemed guests? Please wait outside while I inform Mr. Cain of your arrival," the guard politely requested, recognizing their importance. Timothy ignored him, leading Elisa inside.

"How dare you invade the home of a national hero? Stop!" the guard thundered.

"Preposterous! How dare you obstruct the Martial League Overseer? Do you want to die?" shouted one of Timothy's escorts.

"The Martial League Overseer?" The Cain family staff were stunned, and no one dared to intervene.

"Timothy, this isn't the best approach," Elisa whispered nervously. "Victor Cain is a respected national hero here."

"So? I'm the Martial League Overseer. Every Martial League member in Lannopolis answers to me, even national heroes!" Timothy retorted, pushing aside anyone who obstructed their progress.

"Victor, come out and greet me!" Timothy bellowed, his voice echoing through the villa.

Victor soon emerged, his face grim. A national hero and legend, no one dared create such a disturbance in his home, except Dustin a few days ago.

"Wow, the Martial League Overseer! Impressive," Victor said sarcastically, his displeasure evident. Even a Central Harbor-despatched Overseer should show respect.

"I'm a member of the Bones family, and I possess the Martial League's Gold Token," Timothy stated icily. "Is that insufficient?"

"The Bones family The Gold Token?" Victor's expression changed. The Bones family's influence, even for a national hero, demanded respect. The Gold Token, a high-level symbol of authority within the Martial League, made Timothy's power undeniable. "Sir, welcome to my humble home," Victor said, bowing despite his displeasure.

"Wow, Timothy! You got a national hero to bow!" Elisa exclaimed excitedly. Timothy smiled, enjoying the praise.

"I'm investigating the Aquila family massacre," Timothy informed Victor, "and I'll establish a martial court at your villa. Important individuals will observe the public trial of Dustin Fox. Arrange the necessary preparations."

Timothy's condescending order irritated Victor. However, the news of a formal trial surprised him, a stark contrast to the informal proceedings a few days ago. Recalling Dustin's fight with Metal Mask, his heart sank.

"I'll arrange the court, but I'm too old to attend," Victor said after considering. "You'll have to handle everything." This angered Timothy.

"Too old? You're still very active, Mr. Cain. You can contribute to the Martial League, and you'll assist in apprehending Fox if necessary."
