"Mr. Fox, this way, please," Orville bowed, gesturing for Dustin to proceed to Hell Hall headquarters. Dustin, expression indifferent, departed with several Hell Hall members, ignoring Elisa and Jaxon.
Orville's demeanor immediately shifted to furious anger. Killing intent flared in his eyes. "The Chandler family's pharmacy and all associated black market businesses are terminated. Leave the black market within the hour, or Hell Hall will remove you forcibly!" he declared coldly. Even Jaxon dared not disobey.
The onlookers sighed. As Lannopolis's most powerful family, the Chandlers wielded considerable influence, their black market enterprises generating over half their annual profits. Being blacklisted by Hell Hall represented a catastrophic blow, the resulting losses unimaginable.
Jaxon remained speechless, anticipating interrogation and punishment for the family's substantial losses. Elisa, meanwhile, remained bewildered.
"Is Orville Wane stupid? Dustin's a nobody! Why the respect?" she exclaimed angrily. Jaxon quickly covered her mouth. He realized Elisa's naiveté, even for someone from the Wyatt family. Even a fool could see Dustin was extraordinary, yet she persisted.
"Do you want to die? How dare you insult Mr. Wane?" Jaxon asked anxiously.
"He's the crazy one treating Dustin like royalty! What's his game?" Elisa fumed, still baffled.
"Miss Elisa, calm down. We have a contingency. Remember why we're here?" Jaxon whispered.
Elisa froze, then calmed. "Is your ace assassin here?" she whispered back.
Jaxon urged discretion, leading her to a nearby restaurant. In a private room, a masked individual entered. Such attire was commonplace in the black market, concealing identities.
"This is Frost the Butcher, God's Lance's ace assassin—the third-best organization globally," Jaxon told Elisa. "He's killed sovereign-grade fighters and important figures, escaping unscathed. He's legendary."
Elisa's eyes gleamed. "He can kill Dustin?" she asked.
"He'll have little trouble," Jaxon smiled.
"Target information and price," Frost stated tersely.
Elisa produced a picture of Dustin. "His name is Dustin Fox. He was a Wyatt family lackey, learned to fight, and is quite skilled." Disgust flickered across her face. She omitted Dustin's true strength, fearing it would inflate the price or frighten Frost. Jaxon, though surprised by her deception, remained silent, accepting her strategy. Frost examined the photo impassively.
