Chapter 34: Myrna Ignores Stephanie
Abbey watched the comments. Many people didn't believe the post. On the fourth page, the poster replied:
“The transfer student did get full marks. I went to the academic affairs office to collect the class data and saw her grades. The director of teaching and discipline, and several teachers present, were shocked. They all wanted her in their classes. By the way, she's stunning!”
Abbey continued watching the comments. Dumbfounded, and holding her phone, she asked Stephanie, "Stephie, your sister registered today, didn't she?"
Stephanie, preoccupied with her own big news—her acceptance to Hebbury College of Art—wasn't listening. "Yeah. Why?"
Abbey said, "You said your sister was a bad student. However, a post on the school BBS said the transfer student got full marks on the placement test. Could that be your sister?"
Stephanie stopped, turned, and snatched Abbey's phone. Her expression was far from pleasant. "Let me see it."
Looking at Stephanie's upset face, Abbey said nervously, "Maybe it wasn't her. Her grades aren't good. If it was her, she should have been admitted to Melcester Central High School and wouldn't be transferred here. Maybe it was a good student from another school."
Chapter 34: Myrna Ignores Stephanie
Stephanie's expression was comical; she clenched the phone, as if wanting to crush it. Abbey, fearing for her phone's safety, didn't dare ask for it back.
Someone approached them—a girl in a long hoodie covering her thighs and wearing shorts. Her long, slender legs and delicate features were far more refined than Stephanie's. Myrna exuded a cooler, more casual air.
"It's Myrna," Abbey said, immediately pulling Stephanie's hand.
Stephanie, seeing Myrna, forced a smile. "Myrna."
Myrna, ignoring the two blocking her path in the corridor, simply said, "Excuse me."
Stephanie's face fell. She turned away, watching the seemingly arrogant figure walk into Class A, next to Class B.
Abbey was shocked. She gasped, muttering to herself, "It's really Myrna on the BBS. How did she get such great grades?"
Stephanie remained silent, upset and unwilling to answer Abbey. She remembered Myrna's excellent primary school grades—always first in her class. While her middle school grades weren't as impressive, Myrna always knew the types of questions the school would ask at the end of each semester, a fact Stephanie had relied on for help.
Chapter 34: Myrna Ignores Stephanie
In Class A, students were unusually chatty instead of studying, discussing the new student. Then, Myrna entered.
The boys were captivated, shocked by her beauty—even surpassing Stephanie's. The girls also eyed her curiously.
Myrna looked around for a seat. Rachel Lynn, the class study monitor, noticed and waved. "Hi. Come sit with me. The seat next to me is free."
Myrna approached, placing her bag on the table beside Rachel, and sat down.
"Hi, I am Rachel Lynn."
Rachel extended a hand—chubby, fair-skinned, with neatly manicured nails. Her baby face and dimples gave her a pure, adorable look. She stared at Myrna in awe. "You're Myrna Stark, right? I saw the post about you on the school BBS. You're amazing."
