Jake stepped forward two steps, moving closer to the window. “This person looks kind of familiar. Judging by the face, quite handsome–like a celebrity.”
“He is a celebrity. He was injured during a commercial performance–fell off the stage.”
“Ah!” Jake was incredulous and quickly took out his phone to look it up. After searching on the internet, he indeed found information about the commercial performance. “FN International, the Felton family? The Felton family is a big shot in the entertainment industry–one of their company’s artists was injured!”
‘FN International? So he’s one of Nina’s celebrities?’ wondered Chris. Chris wasn’t very familiar with the entertainment industry or celebrities. After Jake finished speaking, he handed the phone over to him. Chris took out his own phone and turned to make a call. The other side answered quickly.
Wind noise came through the receiver–it seemed like they were outside. Nina spoke with a cold tone after talking briefly with several people nearby, “Chris, I was just about to call you. Our company’s artist was injured and was sent to your hospital.”
“The orthopedics department has already started the surgery. It will take a long time and won’t finish until early morning,”

A surgery lasting over 10 hours–don’t overwork yourself, and the patient better not die.” Jessica’s voice was cold. She was always habitually cold when big things happened.
Chris said, “Are you going to see Nina? You should be careful too. If… this really involves the Hall family, what’s your plan?”
“We have to find evidence first. Roy is here too. This is a major case. Does the surgery finish at dawn? I’ll send someone to pick you up then.”
