Nina sighed. “Everything’s about work for you, isn’t it? Matthew and I haven’t planned to go public. Let’s talk about it later.”

They chatted for a while longer. Mandy only ate a few more bites, then began working on her article from her phone, sending all the photos from the scene back to the office.
