“Shannon is the team leader. Let her decide for herself. It mustn’t cause a stir. Make sure it’s well controlled.”

“Okay.”

“When will the person you arranged to be with Natalie arrive?” asked Chris.

Jessica said, “We already met them today.”

She glanced at the time. “They said they were going to the school, so they should have arrived already.”

Chris was curious.

Jessica only said that this person would take good care of Natalie, and that going to school was part of the task.

Since they could go to school, it meant this person wasn’t very old, yet had been with Jessica for a long time.

Who could it be?

Previously, Chris had noticed that there were always various people around Jessica, all highly talented, yet rarely seen.

Just like Calum.

If Calum hadn’t gone to keep an eye on Helen, Chris might never have seen him.

But Calum was Indya’s younger brother, and the two of them had a close relationship.

Chris knew Jessica still had some secrets.

After waiting for a while, the driver announced that they had arrived.

The local driver followed them the whole way.

Felix and Natalie drove themselves, and they met them at the school entrance.

Natalie looked around, realizing that her parents had first met here, and felt sorrow in her heart as well.

“You’re here.” Natalie turned and saw Jessica and Chris.

Natalie liked Chris, though it was mainly because of his appearance.

Since she couldn’t change his mind, she simply let it go.

Chris said, “This really is a nice school. It looks beautiful. You’ll be happy studying here.”

Natalie said, “Thank you for coming to see me off. If it weren’t for you, my uncle wouldn’t have agreed to let me study art.”

“Let’s go inside and take a look. First, we’ll get you enrolled. After that, you have to handle things yourself. We’ll hang around near the school and pick you up in the evening for dinner.”

Natalie nodded.

Jessica replied to messages on her phone, occasionally looking up as if waiting for someone.

After accompanying Natalie for the enrollment, they parted ways.

“Jessica, the person you mentioned…” Chris asked again.

Jessica hushed him.

“She’s seen Natalie’s photos. She’ll go find Natalie on her own. We just need to wait for the news. How she ends up living with Natalie depends on her. We don’t need to interfere.”

“The Aitairy headquarters is in Lonat. I really want to go see it now,” said Felix, his gaze darkening.

The thought of his sister and brother-in-law having died here, Felix couldn’t rest easy.

“We’ll see it sooner or later,” said Jessica.

The school was very big.

They spent over an hour touring before finally returning to the school entrance to wait for Natalie.

“Mandy had been to Aitairy headquarters,” Jessica explained to Felix.

“You’ve probably seen it in the news. The reporter, Mandy, is the younger sister of Collin from Hurricane Media. She was abandoned by the Phillips family back then. It was unexpected that she could be found.”

Felix nodded.

“They are all heartless people. Family conflicts always leave such regrets.”
