Episode 103

The only person in the entertainment industry she genuinely disliked was Sandra. Ironically, she'd heard Asher himself harbored negative feelings toward Sandra, making his current attitude toward Elizabeth seem illogical.

Soren nodded at Ruby and stepped forward, his movement purposeful, easing the underlying tension. “I watched the ‘Blazing Sun’ audition clips on Twitter,” he began. “Elizabeth demonstrated remarkable emotional depth. Today, let’s explore the scene where the main characters experience a crucial misunderstanding.”

As his hand reached for the script, Asher abruptly rose, approaching him and firmly pressing down on the document. “Why restrict her to familiar ground?” Asher challenged. “A compelling show can’t rely on predictable scenes. Unexpected moments define true storytelling. What if we randomize the scene selection?”

Elizabeth, who had been quietly observing, sensed something brewing. Her suspicion crystallized: Asher seemed to have a specific agenda regarding her. With studied indifference, she responded, “I’m adaptable. Choose whatever you’d like.”

Soren surveyed both participants, his gaze weighted with unspoken understanding. “Since you’re in agreement,” he said, “I’ll select a scene at random.” Though technically conducting the audition, Soren remained skeptical of Elizabeth’s potential. Future collaborations demanded diplomacy, and he was reluctant to be overly critical; his primary hope rested on her meeting the fundamental acting requirements. With Asher having escalated the challenge, Soren was quietly eager to witness the unfolding dynamics.

After methodically shuffling the scripts, he randomly selected one and distributed copies to Elizabeth and Asher.
