Chapter 16

Clarissa sneered, "What am I doing? Iโ€™m exposing you. You shameless little bitch."

She raised her voice, getting everyoneโ€™s attention.

"Listen up, everyone. Alarieka is shameless. She drugged my brother, Kieran, to sleep with him! This is what a high school student does. How disgusting! Luckily, Kieran and his girlfriend are smart and didnโ€™t fall for her trick! She is a shameless bitch!"

The class burst into chaos. They looked at Alarieka with a mix of shock and anger, as if they were looking at trash.

Alarieka couldnโ€™t stand Clarissaโ€™s slander and stood up. Alarieka was taller than Clarissa, looking down at her with cold eyes.

She pursed her lips and then said, โ€œFirst, I didnโ€™t drug Kieran. Iโ€™m also a victim. Second, Kieran hasnโ€™t made a judgment yet. Who do you think you are to spread rumors here? Third, you call me a shameless bitch every chance you get. Do you even act like a high school student?โ€

Clarissa was left speechless, her face turning red with anger.

Before Alarieka could react, Clarissa threw her backpack to the ground with a loud thud.

Alarieka quickly squatted down to pick it up. Her hands trembled as she pulled out a cheap crystal locket from the backpack. Alariekaโ€™s hands trembled as she held the crystal locket. The crystal locket was broken. It was a gift from her father. Her mind went blank.

Around her, Clarissa and the other students laughed.

โ€œThis crystal isnโ€™t worth much, and sheโ€™s so upset. Alarieka is really as poor as a church mouse.โ€

โ€œAlarieka is just a dog raised by my family, yet she thinks sheโ€™s someone.โ€

By the time Alarieka came to her senses, she was already on top of Clarissa, punching Clarissa in the face.

Kieran, Roschelle, and Tamika arrived quickly. A crowd of students, eager to see what was happening, gathered at the principalโ€™s office door, straining to see inside.

Clarissaโ€™s eyes were red from crying, and her cheeks were scratched by Alarieka. Alarieka stood in front of the principal, clutching the crystal locket tightly. As soon as Kieran and Roschelle got there, they went to Clarissaโ€™s side. Roschelle looked at Clarissaโ€™s face with sympathy and hugged her gently. โ€œHow did this happen?โ€

Kieran frowned as his chilly gaze suddenly landed on Alariekaโ€™s stubborn back. His voice was cold and stern. โ€œAlarieka, apologize to Clarissa.โ€

Alarieka had expected this. Before Kieran arrived, the head teacher had exaggerated and told Kieran part of the story, omitting many parts that were unfavorable to Clarissa. In short, she was described as an unforgivable villain.

Alarieka straightened her back. โ€œI wonโ€™t apologize. I did nothing wrong.โ€

The head teacher spoke coldly, โ€œMr. Argent, we really canโ€™t teach her. So many classmates saw it, and she still dared to hit Clarissa.โ€

Kieranโ€™s tone grew more serious. โ€œAlarieka, when can you stop causing trouble?โ€

Alarieka showed her broken crystal locket to Kieran. โ€œClarissa smashed my crystal locket.โ€

The class advisor glanced at the crystal locket and put in, โ€œClarissa is a sweet kid. How could she possibly smash your crystal locket? The school wonโ€™t allow you to frame her! You hit her for no reason. Youโ€™re too disappointing!โ€

How ridiculous! It was a plain fact that Clarissa had smashed Alariekaโ€™s crystal locket, but the class advisor defended her and claimed it wasnโ€™t intentional. Meanwhile, the class advisor criticized Alarieka for hitting Clarissa and said it was a horrible action.

Seeing the broken crystal locket, Roschelle commented gently. โ€œThis crystal locket doesnโ€™t look fancy. I can buy you a new one. Whatโ€™s the big deal?โ€
