Kieran backed out. The servant walked in right after Kieran: “Sir Argent, do we still need to move out the stuff in Ms. Huston’s room?”

Wallace paused for a moment. “Moved.” “Don’t worry about Kier’s opinion.”

The servant said, “Okay, got it.”

It was sudden. When Tamika walked in with hot milk, Alarieka got a call from Kieran. She took the milk Tamika handed over and pressed her finger on the area to answer the call.

Alarieka’s voice was calm: “What’s up?”

Kieran’s voice was a bit low: “Where are you?”

Alarieka joked, “Outside.”

Kieran’s voice was lower: “Where is it?”

Alarieka sneered, “What, you wanted me to go back?” “Did you miss me?”

She was doing this on purpose to gross Kieran out. Kieran had always hated her liking. When it came to men and women, he was never stingy with sweet talk to Roschelle, but he didn’t want to say a single word to her.

Alaricka really didn’t want to talk to Kieran on the phone, so she did it on purpose to annoy Kieran, hoping Kieran would hang up and stop bothering her.

Sure enough, there was anger in Kieran’s voice: “Alaricka.”

Alaricka spoke in a playful voice, “Don’t call my name, I’ll suspect you have a crush on me.”

Kieran was silent for a few seconds.

To Alarieka’s surprise, Kieran didn’t hang up because of that. “Alarieka-”

That sudden urgent voice cut Kieran off: “Mr. Argent, Ms. Whitaker was looking for you, really anxious, said if you could go see her right away.”

Alarieka gave a sarcastic smirk. Well, now she didn’t have to go out of her way to make Kieran hang up–Kieran would hang up on his own.

She only vaguely heard Kieran say, “Okay, let her wait for me.” Sure enough, Kieran hung up right after he said that.

Alarieka tossed her phone aside and got back to studying. In the morning, Alaricka slowly got out of bed and packed her schoolbag.

Tamika was still lying in bed at that moment. Once, at the Argent’s villa, they didn’t have to worry about meals, because the servants in the Argent’s villa took care of everything.

Now she could only go downstairs to buy breakfast. Luckily, this was an old neighborhood, and there were plenty of food stalls around. Although it was a bit complicated, Alaricka still felt more relaxed.

After putting the breakfast bought for Tamika on the table, Alaricka went out. The old campus was really close to the school; it only took about ten minutes to walk there.

When she got to the school, Alarieka immediately noticed something was different. Not just her classmates at school, but also a lot of strangers on the street looked at her, their eyes full of contempt.

The situation at school got worse and worse, and even some younger students would come up to see her. She didn’t know the answer until a kind classmate told her.

Although she had already deleted the post Clarissa made on the school forum, the post had already been reposted to a bigger social media platform, and it was pretty popular there.

The reason it was so popular was because it involved the well-known pianist Roschelle. Clarissa’s post still used fake names, but the posts that got shared to bigger social media platforms used real names. They basically told everyone that Kieran and Roschelle were childhood friends, super close, and almost getting married.

But a senior girl named Alaricka didn’t want to be left out, so she forced herself into their relationship, trying to get between them.

Roschelle had a huge fan base globally. The fans also knew about Roschelle and Kieran’s relationship, and always called Kieran brother-in-law. They were really happy with Kieran.

As soon as this post came out, Roschelle’s fans got really angry and started calling Alaricka a homewrecker on social media.

When Alarieka saw this post, the first thing she felt wasn’t anger, but sarcasm. Seeing the name Roschelle, Alarieka couldn’t help but sigh again about the way Kieran looked at Roschelle.

Roschelle wasn’t a talented person in the piano field. All her works since she started out were pieces she paid others to create. Even the piano pieces on music platforms were played by someone else instead of her.

Even in big competitions, the audio was pre-recorded, and Roschelle just had to pretend to play while the audio was played from backstage.

At first, Kieran didn’t know. But after he found out, Kieran became Roschelle’s shield and spent more money to hire shooters for Roschelle. Even Alaricka’s own work was taken away by Kieran and given to Roschelle.

She just watched as Roschelle stepped on her back, climbed to the top where no one else was, took her work, and became a milestone figure in the piano world.
