Chapter 39
โThe feeling of splashing water was really nice, thanks for teaching me.โ
The girl in front was the closest, got splashed with more water, was almost soaked all over, and her hair was all clumped together.
She screamed, โAlaricka!โ
Alaricka walked over, brushed past her, stopped and chuckled, โJust a clown.โ
The girl was so mad she gnashed her teeth: โAlaricka, I will never let you go!โ
Alaricka walked through the crowd, her voice calm: โAlright, Iโll wait.โ
Roschelleโs piano performance for the school anniversary was just a few days away. It wasnโt really popular at first, but because of some posts online, Roschelleโs performance got a lot more attention.
Even though the original post was already deleted, it didnโt stop Roschelleโs fans and CP shippers from being passionate. Up to now, there were still tons of discussions about this on social media, mixed with lots of curses and insults toward her.
There used to be a lot of tricks like this. She had seen too many and been through too many. She didnโt take this kind of scene seriously at all. It was just that it wasnโt hard at all to see who was behind these posts.
Alaricka didnโt sit still either, and just posted something on Instagram.
โWished you two a long and happy life together.โ
Also posted Roschelleโs Instagram background. Roschelleโs Instagram background was a photo of her and Kieran holding hands, taken from behind.
This Instagram post got likes really fast. She didnโt even look at it, just packed up and left school. As soon as she left the school, Alaricka saw the Rolls-Royce parked at the gate. That was Kieranโs car.
A fancy car like that parked at the crowded school gate caught a lot of peopleโs attention, and everyone was quietly talking about whoโs here to pick up who.
She didnโt look around and just took a detour. She had just walked a few steps when her arm was grabbed by someone behind her.
โMs. Huston, Mr. Argent, please get in the car.โ
Alaricka shook off his hand and said coldly, โThen tell him I already left the Argent family. He has no right to control me.โ
โNot qualified?โ
Kieranโs deep voice suddenly came from behind. Alaricka didnโt even listen and just walked away.
Kieran suddenly grabbed her wrist and lowered his voice, โAlaricka.โ
Alaricka tried hard to shake off Kieranโs hand: โLet go! Let go!โ
Kieranโs eyes were sharp, his dark eyes gloomy: โIf you want to mess around here, I could keep you company.โ
Alaricka gritted her teeth. โLunatic.โ
She ended up getting in Kieranโs car. She was going to take the front passenger seat, but Kieran just looked calmly at her hand on the seat.
It seemed like he wouldnโt let it go unless she sat in the back. Alaricka just had to sit in the back seat, but she sat far away from Kieran.
Kieran didnโt seem to care how far away she was, โWhere do you live?โ
Alaricka wanted to say it had nothing to do with him, but with Kieranโs ability and personality, he would find out sooner or later, so being stubborn about this didnโt make sense. Just say Kieran was the one who drove her back.
Alaricka turned her head to look out the car window, watched the traffic, and said the name of the old neighborhood in a cold voice.
Kieran casually crossed his legs, tapping his fingers on his knee: โWent through all that trouble to escape, just to live in a place like this.โ
The lukewarm sarcasm made Alaricka really mad. But she kept a calm face and shot back, โNo matter how bad it was, itโs still better than some places that looked nice but actuallyโฆโ
Kieran let out a low laugh, his voice deep and magnetic. Alaricka carefully rolled her eyes.
Her vision went dark for a second, and the next moment she was in Kieranโs arms.
Bang!
A huge noise exploded right by the car, and Alarickaโs head was left with wave after wave of nonstop ringing.
She was all stiff, her head could barely think anymore, and she could hardly breathe. Car accident, this was a car accident.
Her body started to shake, her eyes went wide, and her mouth was open but she still couldnโt breathe. She was stiff all over, it was scary. Her Nina just died in a car accident.
She could still hear Ninaโs tearing screams in her ears, and everything in front of her was blood-red, all from the blood coming out of Nina.
Alarickaโs vocal cords could barely make a sound, her voice was hoarse and harsh: โNinaโฆโ
โMy Ninaโฆโ
