Chapter 39

โ€œThe feeling of splashing water was really nice, thanks for teaching me.โ€

The girl in front was the closest, got splashed with more water, was almost soaked all over, and her hair was all clumped together.

She screamed, โ€œAlaricka!โ€

Alaricka walked over, brushed past her, stopped and chuckled, โ€œJust a clown.โ€

The girl was so mad she gnashed her teeth: โ€œAlaricka, I will never let you go!โ€

Alaricka walked through the crowd, her voice calm: โ€œAlright, Iโ€™ll wait.โ€

Roschelleโ€™s piano performance for the school anniversary was just a few days away. It wasnโ€™t really popular at first, but because of some posts online, Roschelleโ€™s performance got a lot more attention.

Even though the original post was already deleted, it didnโ€™t stop Roschelleโ€™s fans and CP shippers from being passionate. Up to now, there were still tons of discussions about this on social media, mixed with lots of curses and insults toward her.

There used to be a lot of tricks like this. She had seen too many and been through too many. She didnโ€™t take this kind of scene seriously at all. It was just that it wasnโ€™t hard at all to see who was behind these posts.

Alaricka didnโ€™t sit still either, and just posted something on Instagram.

โ€œWished you two a long and happy life together.โ€

Also posted Roschelleโ€™s Instagram background. Roschelleโ€™s Instagram background was a photo of her and Kieran holding hands, taken from behind.

This Instagram post got likes really fast. She didnโ€™t even look at it, just packed up and left school. As soon as she left the school, Alaricka saw the Rolls-Royce parked at the gate. That was Kieranโ€™s car.

A fancy car like that parked at the crowded school gate caught a lot of peopleโ€™s attention, and everyone was quietly talking about whoโ€™s here to pick up who.

She didnโ€™t look around and just took a detour. She had just walked a few steps when her arm was grabbed by someone behind her.

โ€œMs. Huston, Mr. Argent, please get in the car.โ€

Alaricka shook off his hand and said coldly, โ€œThen tell him I already left the Argent family. He has no right to control me.โ€

โ€œNot qualified?โ€

Kieranโ€™s deep voice suddenly came from behind. Alaricka didnโ€™t even listen and just walked away.

Kieran suddenly grabbed her wrist and lowered his voice, โ€œAlaricka.โ€

Alaricka tried hard to shake off Kieranโ€™s hand: โ€œLet go! Let go!โ€

Kieranโ€™s eyes were sharp, his dark eyes gloomy: โ€œIf you want to mess around here, I could keep you company.โ€

Alaricka gritted her teeth. โ€œLunatic.โ€

She ended up getting in Kieranโ€™s car. She was going to take the front passenger seat, but Kieran just looked calmly at her hand on the seat.

It seemed like he wouldnโ€™t let it go unless she sat in the back. Alaricka just had to sit in the back seat, but she sat far away from Kieran.

Kieran didnโ€™t seem to care how far away she was, โ€œWhere do you live?โ€

Alaricka wanted to say it had nothing to do with him, but with Kieranโ€™s ability and personality, he would find out sooner or later, so being stubborn about this didnโ€™t make sense. Just say Kieran was the one who drove her back.

Alaricka turned her head to look out the car window, watched the traffic, and said the name of the old neighborhood in a cold voice.

Kieran casually crossed his legs, tapping his fingers on his knee: โ€œWent through all that trouble to escape, just to live in a place like this.โ€

The lukewarm sarcasm made Alaricka really mad. But she kept a calm face and shot back, โ€œNo matter how bad it was, itโ€™s still better than some places that looked nice but actuallyโ€ฆโ€

Kieran let out a low laugh, his voice deep and magnetic. Alaricka carefully rolled her eyes.

Her vision went dark for a second, and the next moment she was in Kieranโ€™s arms.

Bang!

A huge noise exploded right by the car, and Alarickaโ€™s head was left with wave after wave of nonstop ringing.

She was all stiff, her head could barely think anymore, and she could hardly breathe. Car accident, this was a car accident.

Her body started to shake, her eyes went wide, and her mouth was open but she still couldnโ€™t breathe. She was stiff all over, it was scary. Her Nina just died in a car accident.

She could still hear Ninaโ€™s tearing screams in her ears, and everything in front of her was blood-red, all from the blood coming out of Nina.

Alarickaโ€™s vocal cords could barely make a sound, her voice was hoarse and harsh: โ€œNinaโ€ฆโ€

โ€œMy Ninaโ€ฆโ€
