Debra glanced at the business card in her hand before pulling her limited-edition sports car to the side of the street. The pink car stood out like a sore thumb on this otherwise understated road. Debra was dressed to the nines, drawing everyone’s attention the second she stepped out. The staff of Victoria’s Beauty were impressed by her beauty.

The manager approached and sized her up. “Miss, are you a new customer? What can we do for you?”

Debra removed her sunglasses, revealing a pair of mesmerizing, smoky eyes. The manager was amazed.

“My friend recommended this place. I heard you’ve got some excellent beauty programs, so I thought I’d give it a try,” Debra said lazily, settling onto the sofa and picking up a brochure. The massive diamond ring on her finger caught everyone’s eye. To top it off, her wrist flaunted a luxury watch worth seven figures.

The manager gasped in shock. Noticing their stares, Debra raised an eyebrow. “What’s the matter?”

“Oh, nothing. It’s just that you’re stunning. Our customers include celebrities, but none of them look as well-maintained as you do.”

Debra smiled, accepting the flattery. This clinic was well-known among the upper class, especially since it was owned by the Lowe Group. With so many celebrities on Drake’s payroll, it naturally received heavy promotion. Debra had dressed up on purpose to boost her status, ensuring they treated her with respect. That way, she could gather the information she needed more smoothly.

“I’ll just get a facial today,” she said coolly. “If it’s not up to par, I won’t be coming back.” Her haughty tone didn’t offend anyone; on the contrary, it felt completely natural.

Debra stood up, and the staff led her to the largest private room, complete with drinks and fruit. She glanced at the spread and said, “No need for these. I can’t eat while getting a facial.” As she lowered her gaze, she checked the labels on the beauty equipment. The text was too small to read clearly, but she made a mental note to investigate later.

“Miss, please lie down. We’ll start now.”

Debra nodded and reclined gracefully onto the sofa bed. Two staff members began prepping her. Even without makeup, her skin was flawless.

“Miss, do you do spas regularly? Your skin is better than that of any client I’ve seen.”

“Something like that. I don’t bother with average salons.”

Debra chatted with them, but soon her brows furrowed. “Your technique feels amateur. Call your manager to do it.”

“Uh…”

“I’ll pay extra.”

Her words made the staff scurry out without hesitation. Moments later, the manager returned. “Miss, I’m so sorry for the inconvenience. If the staff didn’t meet your expectations, I’ll do the facial for you. As an apology, we’ll give you a 50% discount on the left side of your face. How does that sound?”

“Well, I appreciate the offer,” Debra said coolly, “but I’m not short on money.”
