Chapter 1047
Erica gave Debra a thumbs-up and hurried to catch up. โYouโre gutsy!โ
Having been in Seamar City for so long, she had never seen anyone speak so boldly in front of Andrew. Erica was impressed. Debra was truly one of a kind.
โDo you think Andrew might try to get back at me?โ Debra muttered, suffering from the aftershock. Andrew was a tough nut to crack. Even Marion couldnโt handle him. If he werenโt lenient enough, she would be in great trouble.
โIโm not sure. But I do remember the last person who was rude to him. They were exiled,โ Erica replied, clicking her tongue. โWell, that person wasnโt as bold as you. So, I canโt imagine the consequences.โ
Debra threw up her hands. โDo you think itโs too late to apologize now?โ
โIf youโre sincere enough, maybe itโll work,โ Erica said. โBut Andrew has a terrible temper. Youโll probably need to soften him up a bit.โ
Debra was a little upset, but she didnโt regret her actions. If she hadnโt forced him, he never would have taken the medicine. Then it would just be a waiting game for him to die.
โWe can deal with the apology later,โ Debra said. โHe canโt hold a grudge forever. He probably wonโt take my words to heart, will he?โ
โDonโt ask me. I have no idea,โ Erica whistled, looking away.
If Andrew got angry, everyone in the Potter Mansion would be in trouble.
Randy came out of his room and immediately sensed the tension. โWhatโs going on? Is it the end of the world? Or did something happen to the company?โ Nothing else could make them look so grim.
โSomething worse,โ Erica replied. โDebra forced Andrew to take the medicine that Theda sent, and she didnโt give him water.โ
Randy swallowed hard and gave Debra a thumbs-up. โMarion and you are really a match.โ
โIโm flattered,โ Debra said, trying to sound light. Deep down, she grew even more nervous. Giving Andrew the medicine had drained all her courage. She believed that Andrew hadnโt gotten angry because he was in a good mood. Otherwise, he would have thrown her out the window.
Chapter 1047
At night, she lingered outside the study. Barton saw her and asked in confusion, โMrs. Houston, is something wrong?โ
โI came to check on Andrew.โ She thought for a moment and added, โI wanted to make sure he didnโt spit out the medicine.โ
โDonโt worry. He didnโt,โ Barton reassured her.
