Erica smiled helplessly. She stepped forward, took the gift box, and asked, “Who sent this?”

The doorman did his best to describe, “A redhead wearing a helmet.”

Debra immediately thought of Jordan. “Where is he?”

“He’s already left. He asked me to deliver this to you and said nothing else,” replied the doorman.

Erica also figured it out. They both knew that Andrew had sent Jordan on a mission. As for details, they couldn’t ask. Sometimes, knowing too much wasn’t a good thing.

“Looks like I’m a step too late. You’ve already received so many gifts,” Michael sighed, taking out a white gift box tied with a bow.

Seeing a crystal bracelet inside, Erica exclaimed, “Wow, did you guys plan this? All these gifts are jewelry.”

“All of them?” Michael was surprised.

“Yeah, look. A brooch, a necklace, and now your bracelet. Every single one is jewelry,” Erica said, clicking her tongue. “Typical guys, always giving girls jewelry, lipstick, or bags. Can’t you be a bit more creative?”

On the other hand, Randy was lounging on the sofa in the suite, twirling a pair of butterfly earrings in his hand.

“Marion, do you think Erica will like these earrings I got? I know she loves this brand, so I bought all their new lipsticks. I hope she likes my gifts,” he muttered, excited. “I designed these earrings. Erica loved chasing butterflies in the garden when we were little. She’ll be so touched when she sees them.”

Hearing no response from the dressing room, Randy got up and shouted, “Are you even listening to me? Give me some advice.”

“I advise you not to send them,” Marion stepped out of the dressing room, looking sharp and elegant.

“Dress for success. If you keep looking this good, Debra will fall head over heels for you,” Randy commented. He considered himself quite the catch, but Marion shone even brighter. He quickly snapped out of it and asked, “Wait, why shouldn’t I send them?”

“When Erica was 17, her admirers filled her room with these kinds of gifts. She donated them all to a children’s charity.”

“Hold on. She donated those jewelry and lipsticks to kids?”

“Think bigger. Her admirers sent her more than those things.”

Randy was instantly on edge. “What do I do now? Am I pushing her buttons if I give her these? Would she find me boring?”

“Probably.”

“What should I do? Help me, dude. I’ll marry no one other than Erica.”

Marion sat down on the sofa. “Gifting is about the person, not the gift. If Erica likes you, she’ll choose you no matter what you give her.”

“Really?”

“But you should still change the gift. I’m afraid she’ll feel sick seeing them.”
