Chapter 134
Rosalie could only hold Stanley and sob. Marion looked on indifferently. With so many people still present, Ralph turned to Marion and said, โMr. Huston, I understand your intentions, but this is a family matter. Could youโฆโ
Marion stood up. He hadnโt intended to trouble Debraโs family, only to ensure Ralph learned the truth.
โWell then, Iโll leave it to you to handle,โ Marion said casually. โBut if you canโt, I wouldnโt mind taking matters into my own hands.โ
Ralphโs face paled as he understood Marionโs meaning.
โI understand. I will make things right for Debra,โ Ralph promised.
Marion gestured, and his bodyguards dispersed.
โLetโs go!โ
โYes, sir!โ
They quickly left the villa. Stanley stood up defiantly, pointing at the now-vanished figures. โWho were those people? Why would we believe anything they say, Dad?โ
โShut up!โ Ralph slapped him again, leaving him incredulous.
Rosalie quickly intervened. โRalph, why are you hitting him after everyone has left?โ
โShut your mouth!โ Ralph roared. โMarion came personally. Not throwing you in jail is already a huge favor to us.โ
Stanley turned pale at the mention of Marion.
Ralph added, โStarting today, youโre grounded. Iโm canceling all your cards. Tonight, Iโll take you to apologize to Debra.โ
โWhy should I apologize to her?โ Stanley exploded. โDebra was raised in our family. Why should I apologize to her?โ
Ralph was furious at Stanleyโs outburst. โYou! Go to the hospital with me, now!โ
Ralph dragged Stanley outside, ignoring his struggles.
โWhat are you doing? Let him go!โ Rosalie tried to intervene but was pushed away.
Stanley tried to seek help from Rosalie, but Ralph ordered, โSecurity! Hold him down and get the driver. Weโre going to the hospital.โ
โYes, sir!โ
The security guards restrained Stanley, and soon Ralph was pulling him into the car.
In the hospital room, Debra heard the commotion outside. Stanleyโs and Ralphโs voices reached her ears. Erica also heard the disturbance and curiously opened the door. Ralph dragged Stanley inside.
Debra told Erica, โPlease give us the room. I need to talk to my uncle.โ
Erica nodded. โOkay, Iโll be outside.โ
After Erica left, Ralph pushed Stanley to the ground. โNow apologize to Debra!โ
Stanley struggled but was ultimately pinned down. He looked up at Debra with resentment. โIโm sorry.โ
Debra hadnโt expected Ralph to find out so quickly. Even if Stanley was stupid, he should have known to destroy the evidence.
