Chapter 134

Rosalie could only hold Stanley and sob. Marion looked on indifferently. With so many people still present, Ralph turned to Marion and said, โ€œMr. Huston, I understand your intentions, but this is a family matter. Could youโ€ฆโ€

Marion stood up. He hadnโ€™t intended to trouble Debraโ€™s family, only to ensure Ralph learned the truth.

โ€œWell then, Iโ€™ll leave it to you to handle,โ€ Marion said casually. โ€œBut if you canโ€™t, I wouldnโ€™t mind taking matters into my own hands.โ€

Ralphโ€™s face paled as he understood Marionโ€™s meaning.

โ€œI understand. I will make things right for Debra,โ€ Ralph promised.

Marion gestured, and his bodyguards dispersed.

โ€œLetโ€™s go!โ€

โ€œYes, sir!โ€

They quickly left the villa. Stanley stood up defiantly, pointing at the now-vanished figures. โ€œWho were those people? Why would we believe anything they say, Dad?โ€

โ€œShut up!โ€ Ralph slapped him again, leaving him incredulous.

Rosalie quickly intervened. โ€œRalph, why are you hitting him after everyone has left?โ€

โ€œShut your mouth!โ€ Ralph roared. โ€œMarion came personally. Not throwing you in jail is already a huge favor to us.โ€

Stanley turned pale at the mention of Marion.

Ralph added, โ€œStarting today, youโ€™re grounded. Iโ€™m canceling all your cards. Tonight, Iโ€™ll take you to apologize to Debra.โ€

โ€œWhy should I apologize to her?โ€ Stanley exploded. โ€œDebra was raised in our family. Why should I apologize to her?โ€

Ralph was furious at Stanleyโ€™s outburst. โ€œYou! Go to the hospital with me, now!โ€

Ralph dragged Stanley outside, ignoring his struggles.

โ€œWhat are you doing? Let him go!โ€ Rosalie tried to intervene but was pushed away.

Stanley tried to seek help from Rosalie, but Ralph ordered, โ€œSecurity! Hold him down and get the driver. Weโ€™re going to the hospital.โ€

โ€œYes, sir!โ€

The security guards restrained Stanley, and soon Ralph was pulling him into the car.

In the hospital room, Debra heard the commotion outside. Stanleyโ€™s and Ralphโ€™s voices reached her ears. Erica also heard the disturbance and curiously opened the door. Ralph dragged Stanley inside.

Debra told Erica, โ€œPlease give us the room. I need to talk to my uncle.โ€

Erica nodded. โ€œOkay, Iโ€™ll be outside.โ€

After Erica left, Ralph pushed Stanley to the ground. โ€œNow apologize to Debra!โ€

Stanley struggled but was ultimately pinned down. He looked up at Debra with resentment. โ€œIโ€™m sorry.โ€

Debra hadnโ€™t expected Ralph to find out so quickly. Even if Stanley was stupid, he should have known to destroy the evidence.
