Chapter 350

โ€œWait!โ€ Debra tried to stop the bodyguard, but he vanished in a flash. She was at a loss. In his wheelchair, Andrew gasped for breath. Debra hurried over, asking anxiously, โ€œWhat should I do now? Is there anything I can do for you?โ€

โ€œJust stand there.โ€

โ€œStand here?โ€

โ€œJust stand there,โ€ Andrew said weakly.

Debra knew that remaining still was probably best. But Andrew had helped her so many times; she couldnโ€™t simply stand by while he suffered. Recalling how hospital nurses treated asthma attacks, she sprang into action.

โ€œWait here.โ€

โ€œMs. Frazier.โ€ Andrew tried to stop her, but Debra was already gone.

Andrew coughed, his breath ragged. Debra rushed to the windows, throwing them open for fresh air. She then dashed to the bathroom, grabbed a warm towel, and hurried back.

โ€œYou have asthma, right? Take deep breaths.โ€

โ€œMs. Frazierโ€ฆโ€ Andrew tried to speak, but Debra wouldnโ€™t let him. She used the warm towel to wipe Andrewโ€™s hands, easing his muscles. She remembered that relaxation was crucial during an asthma attack.

โ€œDeep breaths,โ€ she repeated, her voice soothing yet firm. โ€œLetโ€™s at least stabilize you first.โ€ The attack didnโ€™t seem severe, but she needed his medication to be sure.

โ€œDo you have any medication?โ€

โ€œMs. Frazier, you donโ€™t have toโ€ฆโ€

โ€œForget it. Iโ€™ll find it myself.โ€ Andrew failed to stop her. The house was enormous, and the medicine cabinet wasnโ€™t in the room.

She bumped into a maid. โ€œMs. Frazier, do you need something?โ€

โ€œWhereโ€™s the medicine cabinet?โ€

โ€œThere are many medicines, Ms. Frazier. Which one do you need?โ€

โ€œThe one for asthma.โ€

โ€œAsthma? Iโ€™m not sure, but all the medicine cabinets are in his bedroom, Ms. Frazierโ€ฆโ€

โ€œWhereโ€™s his bedroom?โ€

โ€œIn the far corner of the hallway, on the left.โ€

Debra sprinted down the hallway, her heart pounding. She hadnโ€™t expected Andrewโ€™s bedroom to be so far. Reaching the room, she pushed open the door and spotted the medicine cabinet under the coffee table.

The cabinet was filled with bottles and jars. She searched, her fingers trembling slightly. Finally, she found a bottle of asthma medication.

โ€œGot it,โ€ she murmured, clutching the bottle tightly. She rushed back to Andrew, placing the bottle before him.

Seeing her serious expression, Andrew nodded and said, โ€œWater.โ€

โ€œOkay,โ€ Debra replied, quickly pouring a glass of water and handing it to Andrew, who took two pills.

โ€œFeeling better?โ€ she asked.

Andrew smiled weakly and didnโ€™t answer. Just then, the bodyguard returned with a private doctor. The doctor immediately began examining Andrew.
