Chapter 350
โWait!โ Debra tried to stop the bodyguard, but he vanished in a flash. She was at a loss. In his wheelchair, Andrew gasped for breath. Debra hurried over, asking anxiously, โWhat should I do now? Is there anything I can do for you?โ
โJust stand there.โ
โStand here?โ
โJust stand there,โ Andrew said weakly.
Debra knew that remaining still was probably best. But Andrew had helped her so many times; she couldnโt simply stand by while he suffered. Recalling how hospital nurses treated asthma attacks, she sprang into action.
โWait here.โ
โMs. Frazier.โ Andrew tried to stop her, but Debra was already gone.
Andrew coughed, his breath ragged. Debra rushed to the windows, throwing them open for fresh air. She then dashed to the bathroom, grabbed a warm towel, and hurried back.
โYou have asthma, right? Take deep breaths.โ
โMs. Frazierโฆโ Andrew tried to speak, but Debra wouldnโt let him. She used the warm towel to wipe Andrewโs hands, easing his muscles. She remembered that relaxation was crucial during an asthma attack.
โDeep breaths,โ she repeated, her voice soothing yet firm. โLetโs at least stabilize you first.โ The attack didnโt seem severe, but she needed his medication to be sure.
โDo you have any medication?โ
โMs. Frazier, you donโt have toโฆโ
โForget it. Iโll find it myself.โ Andrew failed to stop her. The house was enormous, and the medicine cabinet wasnโt in the room.
She bumped into a maid. โMs. Frazier, do you need something?โ
โWhereโs the medicine cabinet?โ
โThere are many medicines, Ms. Frazier. Which one do you need?โ
โThe one for asthma.โ
โAsthma? Iโm not sure, but all the medicine cabinets are in his bedroom, Ms. Frazierโฆโ
โWhereโs his bedroom?โ
โIn the far corner of the hallway, on the left.โ
Debra sprinted down the hallway, her heart pounding. She hadnโt expected Andrewโs bedroom to be so far. Reaching the room, she pushed open the door and spotted the medicine cabinet under the coffee table.
The cabinet was filled with bottles and jars. She searched, her fingers trembling slightly. Finally, she found a bottle of asthma medication.
โGot it,โ she murmured, clutching the bottle tightly. She rushed back to Andrew, placing the bottle before him.
Seeing her serious expression, Andrew nodded and said, โWater.โ
โOkay,โ Debra replied, quickly pouring a glass of water and handing it to Andrew, who took two pills.
โFeeling better?โ she asked.
Andrew smiled weakly and didnโt answer. Just then, the bodyguard returned with a private doctor. The doctor immediately began examining Andrew.
