“Boss, Ms. Frazier…” Kale muttered.

The mention of Debra annoyed Drake again. “I left her at the casino. Do you plan to pick her up?”

Kale bowed his head. “No, boss.”

Drake glanced at his watch. It was already midnight, the liveliest hour for the casino. People from all walks of life would be there to have fun.

“She is too stubborn, and perhaps a few more hours at that chaotic place would knock some sense into her. Bring her back when she realizes her mistakes.”

“Yes, boss.”

Debra had been staying in the lounge for over two hours. Harland approached the door and asked, “Has Mr. Lowe come back yet?”

The guard shook his head, and Harland waved him off. Debra went out to check the situation, and Harland quickly put on a flattering smile.

“Ms. Frazier, if you feel bored, you can walk around. Just don’t get lost. This place is both safe and dangerous.”

“Do you think Mr. Lowe has forgotten about me?”

“Of course not. You’re Mr. Lowe’s favorite. He wouldn’t leave you here alone. He’s probably just tied up with work. I’m sure he’ll send someone to pick you up soon.”

“Do you really believe so? Honestly, if Drake’s tired of me, I might as well leave before I become a burden.”

Without waiting for a response, she turned on her heel and sauntered away.

Several VIP guests on the second floor stared at her with avaricious eyes, like wolves sizing up their prey. Debra caught their gaze and flashed a teasing smile over her shoulder, eliciting gasps and swallows.

Harland felt helpless. If Drake caught wind of this, he would be furious.

“Miss, are you alone?” A tall, charming man approached her.

Debra seized the moment and slipped her arm through his. “I was. But not anymore.”

As she walked away with the man, Harland’s panic mounted.

“Sir, what should we do? If Ms. Frazier leaves with that man, Mr. Lowe will…”

“You know the consequences and still stand here? Go call Mr. Lowe.”

Across town at the Lowe Mansion, Drake came out of a shower and caught Kale’s tense expression.

“What is it? Has Debra realized her mistake and wants to apologize?”

“No, she left with a man.”

Drake paused from reaching for the wine glass. “Left? Who took her?”

Kale, sensing the approaching tempest, quickly replied, “He looked like a VIP guest, so Harland couldn’t intervene.”

Drake’s anger erupted like a volcano. The wine glass shattered against the wall, and he snapped, “What are you waiting for? Go get her back.”
