Chapter 921

Just as Drake was about to shout "One," footsteps suddenly echoed from outside the banquet hall. Drake wrinkled his brow. Kale rushed up, exclaiming, “Boss, the Eatons are here.”

“What?” Drake was taken aback. Seeing people already entering the banquet hall, he quickly grabbed Debra and pushed her into Kale’s arms. “Take her away.”

“Yes, boss.” Kale dragged Debra toward a nearby corridor.

“My shoe!” Debra’s shoe had accidentally fallen. Drake spotted it and kicked it under the sofa. But the people on the first floor couldn’t escape in time.

Bert entered with Liza, only to be greeted by a lurid scene. Liza, who had never witnessed such a spectacle, screamed and covered her eyes.

Bert commanded angrily, “Clear the place!” Carter immediately went into action with the bodyguards.

The guests present were all Drake’s clients who never expected Bert to suddenly appear. Their enthusiasm vanished, and they hurried away, while the women arranged by Drake scattered in panic.

Seeing the crisis resolved, Marion took the opportunity to slip away. His men met him outside.

“Boss, what happened inside?” one of them asked.

“Nothing major. Keep an eye on Drake,” Marion replied, ready to remove his mask when another bodyguard spoke up. “Juan is also inside.”

“When did he go in?”

“Right after you.”

Marion kicked the bodyguard. “Why didn’t you tell me earlier?”

The bodyguard looked aggrieved but said nothing. Marion glanced at the hotel, now sealed off by the Eatons, and vaulted over a nearby wall.

Inside the banquet hall, the lights had returned to normal. Drake descended from the second floor.

Chapter 921

“Mr. Eaton Sr., I didn’t expect your visit. I should have arranged for someone to pick you up.”

“Pick me up and see this?” Bert slammed his cane onto the floor, his anger palpable. Drake, however, remained unfazed.

“This is just a common business tactic. If you don’t like it, such events won’t happen again.”

Liza, her face flushed with embarrassment and anger, interjected, “Drake, how can you be so vulgar and shameless? And you call this a business tactic? The Eaton family would never stoop to such levels.”

“Every place has its rules. This is how we do things in Orkgate,” Drake responded indifferently.

Liza grew more disgusted with him. She then remembered the aim of her visit.

“You brought Debra to this kind of banquet. Does that mean you’re having an affair with her? Where is she? Hand her over.”

“Debra?” Drake muttered with feigned confusion. “Didn’t you ask me to send her back?”

“Stop lying!” Liza’s voice rose, trembling with anger. “The maid at home told me everything. You brought her here and prepared all those expensive jewels. If you’re not interested in her, then what’s this supposed to mean?”
