Chapter 223
Although several top celebrities attended tonight's party, Jason was in no way inferior to any of the A-list men. In fact, he was even more striking.
His handsome face, and the captivating gaze from his amorous eyes, captivated the journalists. He was indescribably beautiful, a beauty that appealed to both men and women. However, when his eyes turned cold, an indescribable tension filled the air.
Surrounded by his own bodyguards and venue security, Jason, his eyes half-lidded, stood tall in a well-tailored black suit that accentuated his lean, elegant figure. His impeccable fashion sense was well-known among the journalists. However, today presented an exception.
Everything was perfect except a light purple scarf and gloves. These accessories seemed out of place.
"Why do the scarf and gloves look so different from Jason's usual style?" a journalist whispered.
"They look a bit rough, and old. Is it a new vintage collection from some big brand?" another whispered back.
"The average man couldn't pull off that light purple! But it suits Jason," a third added.
Jason disliked being photographed, but some reporters couldn't resist secretly snapping pictures. As his bodyguard started to approach, Jason subtly mouthed something, causing the bodyguard to stop.
Once inside, the reporter whoโd taken the photo gasped. He'd expected the bodyguard to demand the photo's deletion.
Instantly, Jason became the center of attention. Numerous wealthy women vied for his attention.
Patrick approached, examining Jason's outfit. "You look sharp. Though, the scarf and gloves aren't your usual style."
Jason raised an eyebrow. "And what is my usual style?"
'Definitely not this woolen scarf and gloves, and certainly not in such a delicate color!' Patrick thought.
"Shall I introduce you to some of Emerald City's finest ladies?" Patrick offered.
"No," Jason flatly refused.
Patrick's face fell. "Let me introduce you, or I'll be hounded to death by these women." They were the daughters of friends of the Weiss family. While Patrick would normally be their first choice, they completely ignored him, fixated on meeting Jason through him.
Patrick was resigned to his fate. He was good-looking and funny, but women simply weren't interested. He could only conclude their eyesight was faulty.
