It was only a little past five o'clock. No average family would make breakfast so early.

"From now on, breakfast will be ready according to your working hours. Sis must eat breakfast before going to work," Jason said, leading Grace to the table and gently pressing her shoulders to seat her.

Grace obediently sat down and looked at the varied Chinese and Western dishes. She ate a bowl of porridge, some pastries, and drank a glass of milk.

"I'll ask my driver to drive Sis to the Sanitation Service Center later," Jason said.

"It's alright. I'll take the bus," Grace said quickly.

"It's not near the Sanitation Service Center; you'll have to transfer twice. Aren't you afraid you'll be late?" He looked at her casually, confident in his assessment.

Grace was speechless.

After breakfast, the Reed family's driver drove Grace to the Sanitation Service Center in a silver Maybach. Sitting in the car, Grace found it ironic: she had the least prestigious job, yet she was driven to work in such a luxury car.

Grace asked the driver to park 500 meters away, preferring to walk the rest of the way. She didn't want her colleagues to see her arriving in the Maybach, fearing it would spark further rumors.

In the dressing room, she changed into her work clothes. Despite applying ointment, her injured left hand was still painful, hindering even simple movements.

"What happened to your hand?" she asked.

"Nothing. It just got bumped. I hurt the back of my hand a little," Grace replied.

Claire Watts said, "Then sweep slowly today. Don't use your hand too much. I can sweep more."

"Thank you, Claire Watts," Grace said gratefully. Since partnering with Claire, she'd received much support. Before work, Grace had worried her injury would slow them down.

"Don't mention it. We share these two roads. If I get tired, you can sweep more for me," Claire Watts said.

Around noon, they went to the Sanitation Service Center canteen for lunch. Inside, people discussed the influencer's livestream featuring Jason the previous night.
