Sabrina Briggs wished she were in Grace's position.

Suddenly, Jason leaned close to Grace's ear and whispered, "Wasn't Sis wronged the last time you filmed? How about I help you show them who's boss?"

Grace was stunned. Her almond-shaped eyes regarded him doubtfully.

The extras were shocked. Even a fool could see Grace and Jason were close. They wondered about Grace's background. Was she from a wealthy family? Was she just killing time?

Those who knew Jason's identity were even more shocked. If word leaked, Emerald City's gossip industry would have a field day. The city's big boss was being intimate with a lowly extra—highly unusual.

Lily, witnessing this, pursed her red lips. Worry and panic flickered in her eyes.

Evelyn gritted her teeth, her plans ruined. Jason clearly had something to do with Grace. The memory of Brian's introduction and Jason's gaze made her shudder. She feared him intensely.

The director awkwardly asked his assistant, "Young Master Reed's friend is that extra?"

"I suppose so," the assistant replied incredulously.

"Who is that extra? How can she be Young Master Reed's friend?" the director pressed.

The assistant's face paled. "I'll I'll have someone check," he stammered.

Jason turned and walked back to the director. "Alright, you can shoot. I'll just watch."

"Good," the director replied hurriedly and cautiously. He broke into a sweat recalling when Young Master Reed's "friend" had repeatedly knelt and groveled during a demonstration—all Evelyn's fault. If Young Master Reed caused a scene, Evelyn had the crown prince's protection; he had none.

The director, shuddering, began filming, hoping Evelyn wouldn't attack the extra.

Fortunately, Jason merely watched patiently, seemingly unconcerned.

The director and crew were relieved. However, at the kneeling scene, Jason stopped filming.

The director, looking at Jason, asked, "Mr. Reed, is there a problem?"

"I recall an actor complaining that the kneeling and groveling wasn't up to standard last time, so someone demonstrated for quite a while, right?" Jason asked casually.
