“He just asked where you are, and I said you’re in the kitchen, so he glanced at the kitchen,” Mrs. Corbyn said curiously. “Who is he? Do you know him?” Her daughter had run away upon seeing him.

A complex look crossed Kyla Corbyn’s face. “That’s Brian. He’s a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. When I was… with that person, I saw him a few times.”

“Will he recognize you?” Mrs. Corbyn asked anxiously.

Kyla Corbyn sighed. “I’m afraid so.” Even if she looked different, his earlier question proved he’d recognized her.

Mrs. Corbyn’s face fell. “Then what should we do? Will he tell that person? I think he knows Grace. Should we ask Grace to talk to him?”

Kyla Corbyn forced a smile. “Didn’t that young master have scandals? Several of his girlfriends were actresses. His pictures are all over the internet.”

“I guess I know him. I’ve met him a few times,” Grace said.

“There’s nothing between us,” Grace said. Seeing Kyla Corbyn’s continued shock, she added, “Kyla, if there’s nothing else, I’ll go make my deliveries.”

“Alright,” Kyla Corbyn said, pressing her lips together. It seemed she’d have to find Brian herself.

Terrence watched his boss drink the Chinese medicine. He was surprised; Young Master Reed usually avoided even Western medicine. This change must be related to Grace. After all, he’d been trying many new things because of her.

After Jason finished his medicine, he frowned and drank water to wash away the taste. He disliked medicine, but he’d do anything she wanted for the sake of his health.
