Another man wanted her to tie his tie. How long would she be with him? Grace didn't know. Even though they liked each other, and he didn't mind her inability to have children, she dared not think about their future. The difference between them was vast. "Nothing. Bend down," she said.

"You know what? I'm putting my life in your hands right now," Jason's voice was soft.
Grace's fingers paused. Her almond-shaped eyes fixed on his face. He was charming and elegant. "The only woman who can tie my tie is you. No one else."
At the small restaurant, she still thought about Jason's smile and his words: "No one else" could ever tie his tie.
