"I didn't expect you to join us today, Young Master Reed," Hadwin Stephenson said.

"Grace is my girlfriend. Naturally, I'm coming when she's involved," Jason replied lightly.

"Is that so? The person who died in Grace's case was your fiancée, Jennifer Atkinson, Young Master Reed. Do you believe Grace is guilty or innocent?"

Jason's eyes instantly turned cold, his gaze piercing Hadwin Stephenson with the intensity of sharp ice. "I will see justice done." He wouldn't let those who harmed her go unpunished.

"Is that so?" Hadwin Stephenson smiled slightly, then remained silent. He was, after all, an outsider in Grace's case. What intrigued him was Jason's apparent lack of involvement in helping Grace overturn her conviction, especially considering his relationship with her.

Was it the Atkinson family? Jennifer Atkinson had been killed in the car accident, and the Reed and Atkinson families enjoyed a close relationship.

"I didn't expect you to help my girlfriend with her case, Mr. Stephenson. Thank you," Jason smirked, the coldness melting away like the warm spring sun. "Shall we get in the car? Any further delay will impact our arrival time."

"Certainly," Hadwin Stephenson agreed. Their only previous encounter was when Jason had taken Grace to his mansion to retrieve Lina.
