Listen to this chapter:

“How long have I been asleep?” Orem stared at the nurse with a worried expression. “Until you get him,” said the nurse, turning and leaving.

Quinn looked down and noticed her clothes had been changed. She couldn't be bothered to find out who had done it, simply tidying her slightly messy hair.

“Yes, it’s 12,” Grayson walked in from the hallway. The tense look on his face eased a little when he saw Quinn.

Quinn’s heart pounded unknowingly at seeing him again. Her cheeks flushed, and she averted her gaze, not daring to look at his face. She gave him a slight nod while looking down. Then, she said softly, “Thank you for yesterday.”

He was more concerned about her condition than her thanks. “I feel much better,” she replied.

But then, her stomach suddenly rumbled. She was starving, as she hadn’t eaten anything for two days. Cameron heard it. She instantly blushed in embarrassment and hung her head low.

“Come out and eat something. I’ve prepared some food for you.” Seeing her awkward expression, Cameron smiled before turning and heading for the living room.

Quinn bolted out in tears. She patted her cheeks, secretly scolding herself for not controlling herself. Why did her hunger have to announce itself just then? It was so embarrassing.

After eating, Quinn returned to her room and changed into her work uniform. She then returned to the living room and prepared to continue her duties as the butler. However, she overheard Harry reporting something to Cameron.

She wanted to walk away, but she vaguely heard that Harry’s report was likely related to her. Therefore, she stood to the side and listened.

“Are you sure it was her?” Cameron’s expression was grim, his gaze laced with hostility.

“I’ve looked into it carefully. Rebecca Lynch was the one who exposed Ms. Lawson’s identity on the internet,” Harry said with certainty.

“Do they hold grudges against each other?” Cameron asked.

Harry shook his head, hesitant. “No. That was before you came.”

“What do you mean?” Cameron frowned.

“It was probably because Ms. Lynch was supposed to be your butler, but you selected Ms. Lawson. She felt unjustly treated…,” Harry explained carefully.

“Hah!” Cameron sneered. He turned and saw Quinn eavesdropping. He ordered, “Come over!”

Caught by Cameron, Quinn walked up to him with her head hung low, not daring to look at him.

“Did you hear everything?” Cameron asked.

Quietly, she admitted she had, but hadn’t expected Rebecca to harbor such deep hatred toward her. Rebecca had outed Quinn online to bring her down. That was probably why the disciplinary team had acted so quickly.

“How should we handle this then?” Cameron asked, staring at her slightly pale face.

Quinn looked up at him, unsure. She had no idea how they should handle the matter. “Do you want to seek revenge?” he asked.
