Chapter 167

Abby was instantly stunned, her face turning as pale as a sheet. The memory of the snake eggs being swallowed whole yesterday vividly invaded her mind. The intense disgust and pain caused her body to tremble uncontrollably, even convulsing. Abby turned and ran, vomiting violently before she'd gone far. She vomited so much that even stomach acid came up, and a burning sensation filled her belly. Even though she was completely empty, she couldn't stop dry heaving. Eating the snake meat felt like a million ants were biting her.

Preston looked puzzled as he watched her from behind. "What's wrong with her?"

Cynthia shrugged. "No idea. Maybe she just couldn't get used to"

Live Room:

[Ah! I bet normal people can't handle this either. It's snake meat!] [A King Cobra? Seriously? Can someone explain? Isn't this snake super poisonous?] [So, the King Cobra is venomous, and its toxins are mainly stored in its venom glands. But the meat itself isn't poisonous. It's mostly protein. Even though it's not toxic, I'd still suggest not eating it.] [Thanks for the advice! I don't think normal people would try it.]

At that moment, a helicopter landed, and Ethan and Jessie stepped out, looking refreshed. Jessie immediately caught a delicious smell. "Wow, that smells amazing! What are you guys eating?" she asked, heading toward Cynthia and Preston.

Reaching Cynthia, she asked, "What is this?"

"Snake meat," Preston replied.

"Is it good? Let me try some," Jessie said.

Preston tore off a piece for her, and she immediately sat down and enjoyed it.

Ethan walked over and saw Jessie happily eating, looking speechless. "Cynthia, you've already had two lobsters, three steaks, a plate of pasta, and five mini cakes this morning!"

Jessie, taking a large bite of snake meat, said, "But I've never tried snake meat before!"

Ethan was speechless.

Live Room:

[These three are unbelievable—why do my idols and favorite couple like eating snake meat?! It's so ridiculous!] [Honestly, seeing how much they're enjoying it, I'm curious about the taste.] [Jessie is just too much. You give her food, and she eats it. You don't, she grabs it.]

The drone called everyone to gather. Cynthia and Preston, almost finished eating, got up and walked toward the beach.

Jessie was the only one still stuffing her bag with food. Passing Abby, who looked weak and knelt on the ground, she asked with concern, "Abby, are you okay?" Abby was too exhausted from vomiting to speak properly.

Jessie thought, She probably skipped breakfast. She shoved a piece of snake meat into Abby's mouth, brushed her hands off, and walked away, keeping her good deed to herself.

Abby, instinctively chewing, recognized the taste and spat it out.

That darn snake meat again!

Vomit

Everyone except Abby had gathered on the beach. The drone circled them.

"Alright, folks, since yesterday's pairings weren't very enthusiastic, today we're arranging a couples task. The challenge is to team up and take photos. We've prepared four different styles. Each guest will go into the dark room to select their favorite style. Guests who choose the same style will temporarily pair up. The photos will be posted online, and people will vote on how well the couples match. The most popular couple will enjoy a lavish lunch, while the others will get a simple meal. The least popular pair won't have lunch provided."

Live Room:

[They really did it, they're stirring things up again!] [This is the first time I've seen such a strange show. If you don't get into a relationship properly, you won't get a meal.] [But I'm really looking forward to it! Curious about which couples will form. I'm rooting for Cynthia and Preston!] [Ever since Jonathan didn't give his heart token to Nina, I can't ship the Jonni couple anymore.] [The show is fun to watch, but it feels like being thrown into something abruptly, like when my mom used to force me to do my homework.] [This isn't a love reality show, it's more like a messy matchmaking circus.]

Soon, all the guests entered the dark room. Cynthia was first. Eight cards, each presenting different styles of men's and women's clothing (loungewear, a white wedding dress, a tight-fitting dress, and mori-style clothes), were on the table. Cynthia picked loungewear. Five minutes later, everyone showed their cards and paired up: Cynthia and Preston (home style); Ethan and Jessie (tight-fitting dress); Alex and Abby (mori-style clothes); Jonathan and Nina (white wedding dress). Jonathan was last and had no choice.

Live Room:

[Destined to be together, none of our favorite couples will break up!] [A white wedding dress, surely Jonathan will vote for Nina tonight.] [When Cynthia stepped out, I noticed Preston sneaking a glance at her. He's got a little mischief in him!] [So excited, ready to enjoy supporting our favorite couples again!]

A helicopter airlifted four professional photographers and costume props. Everyone went to their tents to change. Cynthia's loungewear was an extremely sexy white shirt; its low buttons revealed her chest, and its length showed her long legs. Jessie's tight-fitting dress highlighted her curves. Jessie praised Cynthia's look; Cynthia returned the compliment. Abby, jealous of Cynthia's alluring outfit, muttered, "Dressed like that, who are you trying to attract?"
